Again the LORD said to me: Give your love to a woman beloved of a paramour, an adultress; Even as the LORD loves the people of Israel, though they turn to other gods and are fond of raisin cakes.

▶ 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. “너는 다시 가서, 다른 남자를 사랑하여 간음을 저지르는 여자를 사랑해 주어라. 주님이 이스라엘 자손들을 사랑하는 것처럼 해 주어라. 그들은 다른 신들에게 돌아서서 건포도 과자를 좋아하고 있다.”

▶ 나는 그 여자에게 말하였다. “당신은 오랫동안 내 곁에서 지내야 하오. 창녀 짓을 해서도 안 되고 다른 남자와 관계를 맺어서도 안 되오. 나도 당신에게 그렇게 하겠소.”

For the people of Israel shall remain many days without king or prince, Without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or household idols.

▶ 이스라엘 자손들도 이처럼 오랫동안 임금도 대신도 없이, 희생 제물도 기념 기둥도 없이, 에폿도 집안 수호신도 없이 살 것이다.

Then the people of Israel shall turn back and seek the LORD, their God, and David, their king; They shall come trembling to the LORD and to his bounty, in the last days.

▶ 그런 다음에야 이스라엘 자손들이 돌아와 주 저희 하느님과 저희 임금 다윗을 찾을 것이다. 그 마지막 날에 이스라엘 자손들은 두려워하며, 주님과 그분께서 베푸시는 좋은 것을 향해 돌아올 것이다.
