▶ For who can say to you, "What have you done?" or who can oppose your decree? Or when peoples perish, who can challenge you, their maker; or who can come into your presence as vindicator of unjust men?

만물을 돌보시는 당신 말고는 하느님이 없습니다. 그러니 당신께서는 불의하게 심판하지 않으셨음을 증명하실 필요가 없습니다.

고통을 당하고 자기들이 신으로 여겼던 바로 그것들로 징벌을 받자 그것들에게 화가 난 저들은 사실을 보고서야 자기들이 전에 알아 모시기를 거부하던 그분께서 참하느님이심을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 그리하여 저들은 가장 무거운 단죄를 받았습니다.
