In days to come the mount of the LORD'S house Shall be established higher than the mountains; it shall rise high above the hills, And peoples shall stream to it:

▶ 마지막 때에 주님의 집이 서 있는 산은 산들 가운데에서 가장 높이 세워지고 언덕들보다 높이 솟아오르리라. 백성들이 이리로 밀려들고

Many nations shall come, and say, "Come, let us climb the mount of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, That he may instruct us in his ways, that we may walk in his paths." For from Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

▶ 수많은 민족이 모여 오며 말하리라. “자, 주님의 산으로, 야곱의 하느님 집으로 올라가자. 그분께서 당신의 길을 우리에게 가르쳐 주시어 우리가 그분의 길을 걷게 될 것이다.” 시온에서 가르침이 나오고 예루살렘에서 주님의 말씀이 나오기 때문이다.

He shall judge between many peoples and impose terms on strong and distant nations; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; One nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war again.

▶ 그분께서 수많은 백성 사이의 시비를 가리시고 멀리 떨어진 강한 민족들의 잘잘못을 밝혀 주시리라. 그러면 그들은 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들리라. 한 민족이 다른 민족을 거슬러 칼을 쳐들지도 않고 다시는 전쟁을 배워 익히지도 않으리라.

Every man shall sit under his own vine or under his own fig tree, undisturbed; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken.

▶ 사람마다 아무런 위협도 받지 않고 제 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래에 앉아 지내리라. 만군의 주님께서 친히 말씀하셨다.

For all the peoples walk each in the name of its god, But we will walk in the name of the LORD, our God, forever and ever.

▶ 정녕 모든 민족들은 저마다 자기 신의 이름으로 걸어가지만 우리는 주 우리 하느님의 이름으로 언제까지나 영원히 걸어가리라.

On that day, says the LORD, I will gather the lame, And I will assemble the outcasts, and those whom I have afflicted.

▶ 주님의 말씀이다. 그날에 나는 절뚝거리는 이들을 모으고 내쫓긴 이들과 내가 고생시킨 이들을 모아들이리라.

I will make of the lame a remnant, and of those driven far off a strong nation; And the LORD shall be king over them on Mount Zion, from now on forever.

▶ 나는 절뚝거리는 이들을 남은 자들로 만들고 쫓겨난 이들을 강한 민족으로 만들리라. 주님이 시온 산에서 이제부터 영원토록 그들을 다스리리라.

And you, O Magdal-eder, hillock of daughter Zion! Unto you shall it come: the former dominion shall be restored, the kingdom of daughter Jerusalem.

▶ 너 가축 떼의 탑아 딸 시온의 언덕아 이전의 통치권이 딸 예루살렘의 왕권이 너에게 오리라, 돌아오리라.

Now why do you cry out so? Are you without a king? Or has your counselor perished, That you are seized with pains like a woman in travail?

▶ 어찌하여 너는 지금 큰 소리로 부르짖느냐? 너에게 임금이 없어서냐? 너의 고문관이 죽었느냐? 아이 낳는 여인의 진통과 같은 괴로움이 너를 덮친 것이냐?

Writhe in pain, grow faint, O daughter Zion, like a woman in travail; For now shall you go forth from the city and dwell in the fields; To Babylon shall you go, there shall you be rescued. There shall the LORD redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

▶ 딸 시온아 해산하는 여인처럼 몸부림치며 신음하여라. 이제 네가 성을 떠나 들에서 살아야 하기 때문이다. 너는 바빌론까지 가야 하리라. 거기에서 너는 구출되고 거기에서 주님이 너를 네 원수들의 손에서 구원하리라.

How many nations are gathered against you! They say, "Let her be profaned, let our eyes see Zion's downfall!"

▶ 그러나 지금은 수많은 민족이 너를 거슬러 모여 “시온이 망하는 꼴을 우리 눈으로 지켜보자.” 하고 말한다.

But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, nor understand his counsel, When he has gathered them like sheaves on the threshing floor.
|

▶ 그렇지만 그들은 주님의 뜻을 알지 못한다. 그들은 주님의 의도를 깨닫지 못한다, 곡식 단들을 타작마당으로 모으듯 그들을 모아들이신 것을.

Arise and thresh, O daughter Zion; your horn I will make iron And your hoofs bronze, that you may crush many peoples; You shall devote their spoils to the LORD, and their riches to the Lord of the whole earth.

▶ 딸 시온아, 일어나 밟아라. 내가 네 뿔을 쇠로 만들고 네 굽을 놋쇠로 만들리니 너는 수많은 민족을 짓밟아 그들이 노획물을 주님에게, 재물을 온 세상의 주님에게 바치게 하리라.
