헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 8월 1일 <모든 이들이 예수님과 함께 들어올려진다는 것> All People Lifted Up with Jesus 예수님의 죽음과 부활은 모든 이들에게 영윈한 삶으로 가는 문을 열어주는 하느님의 길입니다.  예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “나는 땅에서 들어 올려지면 모든 사람을 나에게 이끌어 들일 것이다”(요한 12,32) 짜장 모든 시대와 장소에 산 모든 이들이 예수님과 함께 십자가에 들어올려지고 부활한 새 생명을 얻게 되는 겁니다. 예수님께서 이승을 떠나신 건 모든 인류를 위해 떠나신 것이요 부활하신 것도 모든 인류를 위해 부활하신 겁니다. 과거, 현재 그리고 미래의 누구 한 사람도 예수님께서 건너가신 위대한 길에서 밀려나지 않는 겁니다.  그 길은 바로 노예의 몸에서 자유인의 몸으로, 유배의 땅에서 약속의 땅으로, 끝나는 죽음에서 영윈한 삶으로 건너가는 겁니다. "그분은 우리 죄를 위한 속죄 제물이십니다. 우리 죄만이 아니라 온 세상의 죄를 위한 속죄 제물이십니다."(1요한2,2) All People Lifted Up with Jesus AUGUST 1 The death and resurrection of Jesus are God’s way to open for all people the door to eternal life. Jesus said: “When I am lifted up from the earth, I shall draw all people to myself” (John 12:32). Indeed, all people, from all times and places, are lifted up with Jesus on the cross and into the new life of the resurrection. Thus, Jesus’ death is a death for all humanity, and Jesus’ resurrection is a resurrection for all humanity. Not one person from the past, present, or future is excluded from the great passage of Jesus from slavery to freedom, from the land of captivity to the promised land, from death to eternal life.
