예루살렘에 경비를 세우다
1 성벽 공사가 끝나자 나는 성문을 만들어 달았다. 문지기들과 성가대와 레위인들도 임명되었다. 1 성 수축이 끝나자 나는 성문을 만들어 달고는 수위들을 배치시켰다. 1 When the wall had been rebuilt, I had the doors set up, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were put in charge of them.
2 나는 내 동기 하나니와 성채 지휘관 하난야에게 예루살렘 경비를 맡겼다. 하난야는 진실한 사람이고 남달리 하느님을 경외하는 이였다. 2 그리고는 동생 하나니와 성채 수령 하나니야에게 예루살렘 수비를 맡겼다. 하나니야는 진실한 사람으로서 누구보다도 하느님 두려운 줄을 아는 사람이었다. 2 Over Jerusalem I placed Hanani, my brother, and Hananiah, the commander of the citadel, who was a more trustworthy and God-fearing man than most.

Appoint as watchmen the inhabitants of Jerusalem, some at their watch posts, and others before their own houses."
4 도성은 넓고 컸지만 그 안의 백성은 얼마 되지 않았다. 그래서 집들도 아직 지어지지 않은 채였다. 4 원체 성이 크고 넓은데다 인구는 얼마 되지 않아 새 집을 세울 수가 없었다. 4 Now the city was quite wide and spacious, but its population was small, and none of the houses had been rebuilt.

There I found the following written:

67 이 밖에도 그들의 남녀 종이 칠천삼백삼십칠 명 있었고, 남녀 성가대가 이백사십오 명 있었다. 67 남녀 가수도 이백사십오 명이 있었다. 67 not counting their male and female slaves, who were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven. 율법을 봉독하다
