1	[순례의 노래. 솔로몬] 주님께서 집을 지어 주지 않으시면 그 짓는 이들의 수고가 헛되리라. 주님께서 성읍을 지켜 주지 않으시면 그 지키는 이의 파수가 헛되리라.	NAB ▼

2	일찍 일어남도 늦게 자리에 듦도 고난의 빵을 먹음도 너희에게 헛되리라. 당신께서 사랑하시는 이에게는 잘 때에 그만큼을 주신다.	NAB ▼
▶ It is vain for you to rise early and put off your rest at night, To eat bread earned by hard toil - all this God gives to his beloved in sleep.

4	젊어서 얻은 아들들은 전사의 손에 들린 화살들 같구나.	NAB ▼
