형제 여러분, 나는 여러분이 성령의 은사에 관해서도 알기를 바랍니다.

▶ Now in regard to spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.
|
|

|
여러분이 이교인이었을 때에 말도 하지 못하는 우상들에게 이끌려 정신없이 휩쓸렸다는 것을 여러분은 알고 있습니다.

|
|
▶ You know how, when you were pagans, you were constantly attracted and led away to mute idols.
|

|
그래서 내가 여러분에게 일러둡니다. 하느님의 영에 힘입어 말하는 사람은 아무도 “예수는 저주를 받아라.” 할 수 없고, 성령에 힘입지 않고서는 아무도 “예수님은 주님이시다.” 할 수 없습니다.

▶ Therefore, I tell you that nobody speaking by the spirit of God says, "Jesus be accursed." And no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the holy Spirit.

은사는 여러 가지지만 성령은 같은 성령이십니다.

▶ There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;
|

|
직분은 여러 가지지만 주님은 같은 주님이십니다.

|
|
|
▶ there are different forms of service but the same Lord;
|
|

|
활동은 여러 가지지만 모든 사람 안에서 모든 활동을 일으키시는 분은 같은 하느님이십니다.

|
|
▶ there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.
|
|

|
하느님께서 각 사람에게 공동선을 위하여 성령을 드러내 보여 주십니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.
|
|

|
그리하여 어떤 이에게는 성령을 통하여 지혜의 말씀이, 어떤 이에게는 같은 성령에 따라 지식의 말씀이 주어집니다.

▶ To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

어떤 이에게는 같은 성령 안에서 믿음이, 어떤 이에게는 그 한 성령 안에서 병을 고치는 은사가 주어집니다.

▶ to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit;

어떤 이에게는 기적을 일으키는 은사가, 어떤 이에게는 예언을 하는 은사가, 어떤 이에게는 영들을 식별하는 은사가, 어떤 이에게는 여러 가지 신령한 언어를 말하는 은사가, 어떤 이에게는 신령한 언어를 해석하는 은사가 주어집니다.

▶ to another mighty deeds; to another prophecy; to another discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues.

|
이 모든 것을 한 분이신 같은 성령께서 일으키십니다. 그분께서는 당신이 원하시는 대로 각자에게 그것들을 따로따로 나누어 주십니다.

▶ But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.

▶ One Body, Many Parts

|
몸은 하나이지만 많은 지체를 가지고 있고 몸의 지체는 많지만 모두 한 몸인 것처럼, 그리스도께서도 그러하십니다.

|
|
▶ As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.
|

|
우리는 유다인이든 그리스인이든 종이든 자유인이든 모두 한 성령 안에서 세례를 받아 한 몸이 되었습니다. 또 모두 한 성령을 받아 마셨습니다.

|
▶ For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

몸은 한 지체가 아니라 많은 지체로 되어 있습니다.

|
|
|
▶ Now the body is not a single part, but many.
|
|

|
발이 “나는 손이 아니니 몸에 속하지 않는다.”고 말한다 해서, 몸에 속하지 않는 것이 아닙니다.

|
|
▶ If a foot should say, "Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body," it does not for this reason belong any less to the body.

또 귀가 “나는 눈이 아니니 몸에 속하지 않는다.”고 말한다 해서, 몸에 속하지 않는 것이 아닙니다.

|
▶ Or if an ear should say, "Because I am not an eye I do not belong to the body," it does not for this reason belong any less to the body.

|
온몸이 눈이라면 듣는 일은 어디에서 하겠습니까? 온몸이 듣는 것뿐이면 냄새 맡는 일은 어디에서 하겠습니까?

|
▶ If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?

|
사실은 하느님께서 당신이 원하시는 대로 각각의 지체들을 그 몸에 만들어 놓으셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as he intended.
|
|

|
모두 한 지체로 되어 있다면 몸은 어디에 있겠습니까?

|
|
|
▶ If they were all one part, where would the body be?
|
|

|
사실 지체는 많지만 몸은 하나입니다.

|
|
|
▶ But as it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
|

|
눈이 손에게 “나는 네가 필요 없다.” 할 수도 없고, 또 머리가 두 발에게 “나는 너희가 필요 없다.” 할 수도 없습니다.

|
|
|
▶ The eye cannot say to the hand, "I do not need you," nor again the head to the feet, "I do not need you."
|

|
몸의 지체 가운데에서 약하다고 여겨지는 것들이 오히려 더 요긴합니다.

|
|
|
▶ Indeed, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are all the more necessary,
|
|

|
우리는 몸의 지체 가운데에서 덜 소중하다고 생각하는 것들을 특별히 소중하게 감쌉니다. 또 우리의 점잖지 못한 지체들이 아주 점잖게 다루어집니다.

|
|
▶ and those parts of the body that we consider less honorable we surround with greater honor, and our less presentable parts are treated with greater propriety,
|

|
그러나 우리의 점잖은 지체들은 그럴 필요가 없습니다. 하느님께서는 모자란 지체에 더 큰 영예를 주시는 방식으로 사람 몸을 짜 맞추셨습니다.

|
|
▶ whereas our more presentable parts do not need this. But God has so constructed the body as to give greater honor to a part that is without it,

그래서 몸에 분열이 생기지 않고 지체들이 서로 똑같이 돌보게 하셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ so that there may be no division in the body, but that the parts may have the same concern for one another.
|

|
한 지체가 고통을 겪으면 모든 지체가 함께 고통을 겪습니다. 한 지체가 영광을 받으면 모든 지체가 함께 기뻐합니다.

|
|
▶ If (one) part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.

여러분은 그리스도의 몸이고 한 사람 한 사람이 그 지체입니다.

|
▶ Now you are Christ's body, and individually parts of it.
|

|
하느님께서 교회 안에 세우신 이들은, 첫째가 사도들이고 둘째가 예언자들이며 셋째가 교사들입니다. 그다음은 기적을 일으키는 사람들, 그다음은 병을 고치는 은사, 도와주는 은사, 지도하는 은사, 여러 가지 신령한 언어를 말하는 은사를 받은 사람들입니다.

▶ Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then, mighty deeds; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues.

|
모두 사도일 수야 없지 않습니까? 모두 예언자일 수야 없지 않습니까? 모두 교사일 수야 없지 않습니까? 모두 기적을 일으킬 수야 없지 않습니까?

▶ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work mighty deeds?

|
모두 병을 고치는 은사를 가질 수야 없지 않습니까? 모두 신령한 언어로 말할 수야 없지 않습니까? 모두 신령한 언어를 해석할 수야 없지 않습니까?

▶ Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
|

|
여러분은 더 큰 은사를 열심히 구하십시오. 내가 이제 여러분에게 더욱 뛰어난 길을 보여 주겠습니다.

▶ Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. But I shall show you a still more excellent way.
