헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 10월 15일 [백] 예수의 성녀 데레사 동정 학자 기념일 <교회의 기둥들이라는 것> The Pillars of the Church 두 가지 주된 성사인 세례성사와 성체성사는 교회를 떠받치는 영성의 기둥입니다. 그 성사들은 단순히 교회가 직무를 수행하는 수단이 아닙니다. 말하자면 우리를 그냥 교회의 구성원이 되고 머물게 하는 게 아니라 교회의 고갱이가 되게 하는 겁니다. 이 성사가 없이는 교회도 없는 겁니다. 바로 교회는 세례성사와 성체성사로 틀을 갖춘 그리스도의 몸인 겁니다. 성부와 성자 그리고 성령의 이름으로 세례를 받고 그리스도의 제대에 모여 성체와 성혈을 받아 모시는 이들이 바로 교회라고 부르는 하느님의 백성이 되는 겁니다. The Pillars of the Church OCTOBER 15 The two main sacraments, baptism and the Eucharist, are the spiritual pillars of the Church. They are not simply instruments by which the Church exercises its ministry. They are not just means by which we become and remain members of the Church but belong to the essence of the Church. Without these sacraments there is no Church. The Church is the body of Christ fashioned by baptism and the Eucharist. When people are baptised in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and when they gather around the table of Christ and receive his Body and Blood, they become the people of God, called the Church. † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘. |
