| 성경하느님을 찾고 악을 피하여라 |
| NABExhortation to Justice, the Key to life |
| 1 |
성경세상의 통치자들아, 정의를 사랑하여라. 선량한 마음으로 주님을 생각하고 순수한 마음으로 그분을 찾아라. |
| NABLove justice, you who judge the earth; think of the LORD in goodness, and seek him in integrity of heart; |
| 2 |
성경주님께서는 당신을 시험하지 않는 이들을 만나 주시고 당신을 불신하지 않는 이들에게 당신 자신을 드러내 보이신다. |
| NABBecause he is found by those who test him not, and he manifests himself to those who do not disbelieve him. |
| 3 |
성경비뚤어진 생각을 하는 사람은 하느님에게서 멀어지고 그분의 권능을 시험하는 자들은 어리석은 자로 드러난다. |
| NABFor perverse counsels separate a man from God, and his power, put to the proof, rebukes the foolhardy; |
| 4 |
성경지혜는 간악한 영혼 안으로 들지 않고 죄에 얽매인 육신 안에 머무르지 않는다. |
| NABBecause into a soul that plots evil wisdom enters not, nor dwells she in a body under debt of sin. |
| 5 |
성경가르침을 주는 거룩한 영은 거짓을 피해 가고 미련한 생각을 꺼려 떠나가 버리며 불의가 다가옴을 수치스러워한다. |
| NABFor the holy spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels; and when injustice occurs it is rebuked. |

성경지혜는 다정한 영, 그러나 하느님을 모독하는 자는 그 말에 책임을 지게 한다. 하느님께서 그의 속생각을 다 아시고 그의 마음을 샅샅이 들여다보시며 그의 말을 다 듣고 계시기 때문이다. |
| NABFor wisdom is a kindly spirit, yet she acquits not the blasphemer of his guilty lips; Because God is the witness of his inmost self and the sure observer of his heart and the listener to his tongue. |

성경온 세상에 충만한 주님의 영은 만물을 총괄하는 존재로서 사람이 하는 말을 다 안다. |
| NABFor the spirit of the LORD fills the world, is all-embracing, and knows what man says. |
| 8 |
성경그러므로 불의한 것을 지껄이는 자는 반드시 탄로 나고 징계하는 정의가 그를 그냥 지나쳐 버리지 않는다. |
| NABTherefore no one who utters wicked things can go unnoticed, nor will chastising condemnation pass him by. |
| 9 |
성경간계를 꾸미는 악인은 신문을 받고 그가 말하는 소리가 주님께 다다라 그 악행으로 벌을 받는다. |
| NABFor the devices of the wicked man shall be scrutinized, and the sound of his words shall reach the LORD, for the chastisement of his transgressions; |
| 10 |
성경열성스러운 귀는 모든 것을 다 들으니 투덜거리는 소리도 그냥 넘기지 않는다. |
| NABBecause a jealous ear hearkens to everything, and discordant grumblings are no secret. |
| 11 |
성경그러니 조심하여 쓸데없이 투덜거리지 말고 비방하지 않도록 혀를 잡도리하여라. 은밀히 하는 말도 반드시 결과를 가져오고 거짓을 말하는 입은 영혼을 죽인다. |
| NABTherefore guard against profitless grumbling, and from calumny withhold your tongues; For a stealthy utterance does not go unpunished, and a lying mouth slays the soul. |

성경그릇된 생활로 죽음을 불러들이지 말고 자기의 행위로 파멸을 끌어들이지 마라. |
| NABCourt not death by your erring way of life, nor draw to yourselves destruction by the works of your hands. |
| 13 |
성경하느님께서는 죽음을 만들지 않으셨고 산 이들의 멸망을 기뻐하지 않으신다. |
| NABBecause God did not make death, nor does he rejoice in the destruction of the living. |
| 14 |
성경하느님께서는 만물을 존재하라고 창조하셨으니 세상의 피조물이 다 이롭고 그 안에 파멸의 독이 없으며 저승의 지배가 지상에는 미치지 못한다. |
| NABFor he fashioned all things that they might have being; and the creatures of the world are wholesome, And there is not a destructive drug among them nor any domain of the nether world on earth, |

성경악인들은 행실과 말로 죽음을 불러내고 죽음을 친구로 여겨 그것을 열망하며 죽음과 계약을 맺는다. 그들은 죽음에 속한 자들이 되어 마땅하다. |
| NABIt was the wicked who with hands and words invited death, considered it a friend, and pined for it, and made a covenant with it, Because they deserve to be in its possession, |
