he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

by the power of the holy spirit he took flesh and was born of the virgin mary.
for our sake he opened his arms on the cross; he put an end to death and revealed the resurrection. in this he fulfilled your will and won for you a holy people.
and so we join the angels and the saints in proclaiming your glory as we say(sing) :

this is my body
which will be given up for you.
when supper was ended, he took the cup. again he gave you thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples, and said :

and drink from it :
this is the cup of my blood,

as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
＋ deliver us, lord, from every evil, and grant us peace in our day. in your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our savior, jesus christ.

the power and the glory are yours,
now and forever.
