헨리 나웬 신부님(1932-1996)의 오! 그리고 늘 ! 12월 8일 [교회의 수호자, 원죄 없이 잉태되신 복되신 동정마리아 대축일] <가톨릭교회 제2차 바티칸 공의회 (1962.10.12-1965.12.8) 폐막 57주년> <온 창조의 쇄신 > The Renewal of the Whole Creation 마지막 귀향에는 우리 자신과 이웃 사람뿐만 아니라 피조물 전체가 함께 하는 겁니다. 온 세상이 함께 하느님의 자녀들의 충만한 자유를 나눌 것이며, 우리의 부활에서 이루어진 온전한 쇄신에 우주의 쇄신도 함께 하는 겁니다. 그것이 바로 하느님께서 그리스도를 통해 역사(役事)하시는 구원의 위대한 비전입니다. 바오로 사도는 피조물의 모든 질서를  새 생명의 탄생을 간절히 기다리며 고통 중에 해산하는 여인으로 성찰하며 이렇게 씁니다. "피조물이 허무의 지배 아래 든 것은 자의가 아니라 그렇게 하신 분의 뜻이었습니다. 그러나 그것은 희망을 간직하고 있습니다. 피조물도 멸망의 종살이에서 해방되어, 하느님의 자녀들이 누리는 영광의 자유를 얻을 것입니다."(로마 8,20-21) 하느님께서 창조하신 천하 만물이 하느님의 영광 속으로 드높여질 겁니다. "나는 또 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보았습니다. 첫 번째 하늘과 첫 번째 땅은 사라지고 바다도 더 이상 없었습니다."(묵시21,1) The Renewal of the Whole Creation DECEMBER 8 Our final homecoming involves not just ourselves and our fellow human beings but all of creation. The full freedom of the children of God is to be shared by the whole earth, and our complete renewal in the resurrection includes the renewal of the universe. That is the great vision of God’s redeeming work through Christ. Paul sees the whole created order as a woman groaning in labour, waiting eagerly to give birth to a new life. He writes: “It was not for its own purposes that creation had frustration imposed on it, but for the purposes of him who imposed it – with the intention that the whole creation itself might be freed from its slavery to corruption and brought into the same glorious freedom as the children of God” (Romans 8:20-21). All that God has created will be lifted up into God’s glory.
