헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 9월 16일 [홍] 성 고르넬리오 교황과 성 치프리아노 주교 순교자 기념일 <사람의 아들이 오신다는 것> The Coming of the Son of Man 우리가 하느님의 것이며 아주 파괴적인 세상에 살더라도 하느님과 함께하여 안전하다는 걸 영성으로 깨달으면 역사의 온갖 혼란이나 두려움, 고뇌 속에서도  “사람의 아들이 권능과 큰 영광을 떨치며 구름을 타고 오는 것을”(루카 21, 27) 볼 수 있습니다.  예수님께서는 이 일이 세상 끝 날에 나타난다고 말씀하셨지만 온갖 끔찍한 일들이 끝난 후에 일어날 또 한번의 일은 아닌 겁니다. 세상 끝 날이 이미 온 것처럼 사람의 아들도 오신 겁니다.  그 일은 성령님의 영역에서 일어나는 일이므로 시간의 제약을 받지 않는 겁니다. 예수님과 하나되어 사는 이들에게는 지금 여기 예수님께서 오시는 걸 볼 수 있는 눈과 들을 수 있는 귀가 있는 겁니다.  예수님께서는  “이 세대가 지나기 전에 모든 일이 일어날 것이다.”(루카 21, 32)고 말씀하십니다. 이는 매 세대마다 신실한 이들에게 딱 들어맞는 말씀입니다. "나는 너희를 고아로 버려두지 않고 너희에게 다시 오겠다."(요한14,18) The Coming of the Son of Man SEPTEMBER 16 The spiritual knowledge that we belong to God and are safe with God even as we live in a very destructive world allows us to see in the midst of all the turmoil, fear, and agony of history “the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (Luke 21:27). Even though Jesus speaks about this as about a final event, it is not just one more thing that is going to happen after all the terrible things are over. Just as the end-time is already here, so too is the coming of the Son of Man. It is an event in the realm of the Spirit and thus not subject to the boundaries of time. Those who live in communion with Jesus have the eyes to see and the ears to hear the second coming of Jesus among them in the here and now. Jesus says: “Before this generation has passed away all will have taken place” (Luke 21:32). And this is true for each faithful generation.
