헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 10월 9일 <그리스도의 몸, 우리의 몸> Christ’s Body, Our Body 성체성사를 거행하러 우리가 모이는 건 바로 예수님의 이름으로 모이는 겁니다. 예수님께서는 우리를 함께 부르시어 빵을 떼면서 당신의 죽음과 부활을 기억하라시는 겁니다.  그 자리에 우리가운데  예수님께서 짜장 계시는 겁니다. “두 사람이나 세 사람이라도  내 이름으로 모인 곳에는 나도 함께 있기 때문이다.”(마태 18, 20)라고 친히 말씀하신 겁니다. 예수님께서는 우리 가운데 또 봉헌한 빵과 포도주의 형상으로 똑같이 계시는 겁니다. 우리는 빵 을 떼면서 예수님을 알아보는 것처럼, 우리 형제자매 안에서도 그분을 알아보는 겁니다.  우리가 서로에게 빵을 건내주면서 “이는 그리스도의 몸입니다”라고 말하는 건 바로 서로에게 자신을 내어주면서 “우리는 그리스도의 몸입니다”라고 말하는 겁니다. 하나요 같은 것을 내어주는 것이며, 한 몸이요 같은 몸이고, 한 분이시요 같은 그리스도이신 겁니다. "주 예수 그리스도의 은총과 하느님의 사랑과 성령의 친교가 여러분 모두와 함께하기를 빕니다."(2코린13,13) Christ’s Body, Our Body OCTOBER 9 When we gather for the Eucharist we gather in the Name of Jesus, who is calling us together to remember his death and resurrection in the breaking of the bread. There he is truly among us. “Where two or three meet in my name,” he says, “I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20). The presence of Jesus among us and in the gifts of bread and wine are the same presence. As we recognise Jesus in the breaking of the bread, we recognise him also in our brothers and sisters. As we give one another the bread, saying: “This is the Body of Christ,” we give ourselves to each other saying: “We are the Body of Christ.” It is one and the same giving, it is one and the same body, it is one and the same Christ.
