헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 10월 13일 <그리스도의 신비체가 된다는 것> Becoming the Mystical Body of Christ 우리가 성체성사를 거행하는 제대에 모여 '생명의 빵'과 '구원의 잔'을 나눔으로써 예수님의 죽음과 부활이 우리 것이 되므로 우리는 함께 그리스도의 살아 있는 몸이 되는 겁니다. 성체성사는 우리가 한 몸이 되는 성사입니다. 한 몸이 된다는 건 반(班)이나 동아리, 심지어 공동체가 된다는 게 아닙니다. 한 몸이 된다는 건 그리스도의 몸이 되는 것입니다. 이 세상에서 눈으로 볼 수 있는 살아계신 주님이 되는 겁니다. 예전부터 종종 들어온 것처럼 그리스도의 신비체가 되는 겁니다. 하지만 성령님께서 그느리시는 나라에선 신비적인 것이나 실제적인 것이나 똑같습니다. "몸은 하나이지만 많은 지체를 가지고 있고 몸의 지체는 많지만 모두 한 몸인 것처럼, 그리스도께서도 그러하십니다.--여러분은 그리스도의 몸이고 한 사람 한 사람이 그 지체입니다."(1코린12,12,27) Becoming the Mystical Body of Christ OCTOBER 13 As we gather around the Eucharistic table and make the death and resurrection of Jesus our own by sharing in the “bread of life” and the “cup of salvation,” we become together the living body of Christ. The Eucharist is the sacrament by which we become one body. Becoming one body is not becoming a team or a group or even a fellowship. Becoming one body is becoming the body of Christ. It is becoming the living Lord, visibly present in the world. It is – as often has been said – becoming the mystical Body of Christ. But mystical and real are the same in the realm of the Spirit. "The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
