헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 6월 7일 < 성령님의 힘이라는 것> The Power of the Spirit 예수님 안에서 그리고 예수님을 통하여 우리는 하느님께서 우리에게 기대시는 하느님, 힘이 없는 하느님이심을 깨닫게 됩니다. 하지만 바로 이 힘이 없으신 데서 하느님의 힘이 드러나는 겁니다. 이 힘은 다스리고, 일방적으로 지시하며 억지로 시키는 힘이 아닙니다. 고쳐주고, 화해시키며 하나가 되게 하는 힘입니다. 바로 성령님의 힘입니다. 예수님께서 사람들에게 오시기만 하면 사람들이 그분 가까이 다가가서 만지려고 한 것은 “그분에게서 힘이 나오기"(루카6,19)때문인 겁니다. 이 성령님의 힘이 바로 예수님께서 우리에게 주시고 싶어 하신 힘입니다. 짜장 성령님께서 힘을 주시어 우리는 남을 낫게 하는 사람이 될 수 있는 겁니다. 해서 우리에게 성령님께서 가득차신다면 우리는 치유자가 될 수 밖엔 달리 도리가 없는 겁니다. The Power of the Spirit June 7 In and through Jesus we come to know God as a powerless God, who becomes dependent on us. But it is precisely in this powerlessness that God’s power reveals itself. This is not the power that controls, dictates, and commands. It is the power that heals, reconciles, and unites. It is the power of the Spirit. When Jesus appeared people wanted to be close to him and touch him because “power came out of him” (Luke 6:19). It is this power of the divine Spirit that Jesus wants to give us. The Spirit indeed empowers us and allows us to be healing presences. When we are filled with that Spirit, we cannot be other than healers. † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘. |
