무한하신 하느님을 찾습니다 Seeking the Infinite Good

 

나는 끊임없이 찾고 있습니다... 내가 찾을 수 없는 무언가를..그리고...나는 내 마음이 열렬히 찾고자 하는 하는 것이 어떤 좋은 것이지 잘 알지 못하나 단 한가지는 확실히 알고 있습니다. 그 좋은 것은 결코 지치지 않고 한계로 규정되지 않습니다. 그리고 나의 마음은 절대로 온전하게 그분을 가질 수도 없습니다. 나의 무지로 그분을 알 수는 없으나 그것은 매우 위대한 선이시고 어마어마하며 무한히 좋은 것임을 나는 느낄 수 있습니다.

 

그것이 주님이신가요? 아니라면 도대체 누구입니까?

 

"청하여라, 너희에게 주실 것이라. 찾아라, 넌희가 얻을 것이다. 문을 두드려라, 너희에게 열릴 것이다. "루카 11:9

 

I seem to be seeking...for something I cannot find, and...although I don't know what this good is that my heart seeks so badly, I seem to know one thing for certain, that this good is inexhaustible and nor circumscribed by limits [and] that my heart will never be able to contain it entirely, for in my ignorance I feel that this is a very great good, and immense good, an infinite good.

Is this Jesus? If nor, then who is it?
