연중제8주간토요일 성무일도 독서 베르나의 성 제노 주교의 글에서 Ex Tractatibus sancti Zenonis Veronensis episcopi . A sermon of St Zeno of Verona: 욥은 자기 건강도 재산도 다 되찾았습니다. 주님도 부활하시어 당신을 믿는 이들에게 생명만이 아니라 불사 불멸을 베푸시고 삼라만상을 다스실 지배권을 되찾으셨습니다. 주님 친히 이렇게 증언하십니다. ‘아버지께서는 모든 것을 나에게 맡겨주셨다’ 욥은 잃은 자녀들 대신에 새 자녀들을 낳았습니다. 주님 역시 예언자들 대신에 거룩한 자녀들인 사도들을 낳으셨습니다. 복된 욥은 평안히 잠들었습니다. 주님은 세세에 영원토록 복되십니다. Iob et sanitatem recepit et facultatem. At Dominus resurgens non sanitatem tantum, sed immortalitatem in se credentibus praestitit dominiunque totius naturae repuperravit, sicut est ipse testatus dicens : Omnia mihi tradita sunt a Patre meo. Iob vicarios filios genuit Dominus quoque post prophetas filios sanctos Apostolos procreavit. Iob beatus quievit in pace. Dominus autem manet benedictus in aeternam ante saecula et a saeculis et in cuncta saecula saeculorum. Job received back his health and his riches; and the Lord, rising, did not only regain health but granted immortality to those who believed in him and took back dominion over the whole of nature. For as he himself bears witness: All things have been given to me by my Father. Job begot new sons to replace the ones who had died; the Lord, to replace the prophets, begot his holy sons, the Apostles. Job went to his rest in blessedness and peace; but the Lord remains blessed in all eternity: before time, and from the beginning of time, and to the end of all ages.
