성무일도 재의 수요일 후 토요일 독서 : 성 이레네오 주교의 ‘이단자를 거슬러’에서 Tractatu sancti Irenaei episcopi Adversus haereses : 하느님과의 우정 Amicitia Dei / The friendship of God : 선하시고 자비로우신 하느님은 당신을 항구히 섬기는 이들에게 은총을 주시기 위해서 사람들로부터 섬김을 요청하십니다. 하느님은 아무 것도 필요로 하시지 않지만 사람은 하느님과 친교를 필요로 합니다. 하느님을 영구히 섬기는 것, 이것이야 말로 인간의 영광입니다. Propter hoc autem exquirit Deus ab hominibus servitutem, ut, quoniam est bonus et misericors, benefaciat est qui perseverant in servitute eius. In quantum enim Deus nullius indigens, in tantum homo indiget Dei communitione. Haec enim gloria hominis, perseverare ac permanere in Dei servitute. The reason why God requires service from man is this: because he is good and merciful he desires to confer benefits on those who persevere in his service. In proportion to God’s need of nothing is man’s need for communion with God. This is the glory of man: to persevere and remain in the service of God. Propter hoc autem |
