주님께 사랑의 노래를 불려 드려라 Cantemus Domino canticum caritatis / Let us sing to the Lord a song of love:

'주님께 노래하라. 새로운 노래, 성도들의 모임에 그 찬송 울리어라’ 주님께 새로운 노래를 불러드리라고 권고합니다. 새 사람은 새로운 노래를 알고 있습니다. 노래는 기쁨의 일이며 좀 더 깊이 생각해본다면 그것은 사랑의 일입니다. 새 생활을 사랑할 줄 아는 사람은 새로운 노래를 할 줄 압니다. 새로운 사람, 새로운 노래, 새로운 계약, 이 세 가지가 모둔 유일하고 같은 하느님 나라에 속합니다. 그래서 새로운 사람은 새로운 노래를 부를 것이며 또 새로운 계약에 속하게 될 것입니다. 사랑하지 않는 사람은 하나도 없습니다. 문제가 되는 것은 사람이 사랑할 때 무엇을 사랑하는지 그것이 바로 문제입니다. 그러나 이 말은 사람이 사랑하지 말아야 한다는 뜻이 아닙니다. 사람이 사랑할 때 사랑의 대상을 잘 선택해야 한다는 뜻입니다.

Cantate Domini canticum novum, laus eius in ecclesia sanctorum. Admoniti sumus cantare Domino canticum novum. Homo novus novit canticum novum. Canticum res est hilaritatis, et, si diligentius consideramus, res est amoris. Qui ergo novit novam vitam amare, novit canticum novum cantare. Quae sit ergo vita nova, commonendi sumus proter canticum novum. Ad unum enim regnum pertinent omnia, homo novus, canticum novum, testamentum novum. Ergo homo novus et cantavit canticum novum et pretinebit ad testamentum novum. Nemo est qui non amat, sed quaeritur quid amet. Non ergo admonemur ut non amemus, sed ut eligamus quid amemus. Sed quid eligimus, nisi prius eligamur? Quia nec diligimus, nisi prius diligamur.

Sing to the Lord a new song; his praise is in the assembly of the saints. We are urged to sing a new song to the Lord, as new men who have learned a new song. A song is a thing of joy; more profoundly, it is a thing of love. Anyone, therefore, who has learned to love the new life has learned to sing a new song, and the new song reminds us of our new life. The new man, the new song, the new covenant, all belong to the one kingdom of God, and so the new man will sing a new song and will belong to the new covenant. There is not one who does not love something, but the question is, what to love. The psalms do not tell us not to love, but to choose the object of our love.

여러분은 노래합니다. 물론 노래하지요. 나는 들을 수 있습니다. 그러나 여러분의 입과 다른 음률로 노래하지 않는가 생각하십시오. 목소리로 노래하십시오. 마음으로 노래하십시오. 입술로 노래하십시오. 여러분의 거룩한 생활로 노래하십시오. ‘주님께 노래하라. 새로운 노래를 불러 드려라’

Cantas, plane cantas, audio. Sed contra linguam testimonium non dicat vita. Cantate vocibus, cantate cordibus, cantate oribus, cantate moribus : Cantate Domino canticum novum.

es indeed, you are singing; you are singing clearly, I can hear you. But make sure that your life does not contradict your words. Sing with your voices, your hearts, your lips and your lives: Sing to the Lord a new song.

여러분은 하느님의 찬미를 전하고 싶어합니까? 노래하는 바를 자신의 생활로 실천하십시오. 선한 생활을 하면, 여러분이 바로 그 분께 대한 찬미가 되는 것입니다.

Laudes vultis dicere Deo? Vos estote quod dicatis. Laus ipsius estis, si bene vivatis.

If you desire to praise him, then live what you express. Live good lives, and you yourselves will be his praise.
