- 말씀의 육화와 성체성사를 통하여 우리는 하느님의 본성에 참여합니다 Unitas naturalis fidelium in Deo per Verbi incarnationem et Eucharistiae sacramentum / The unity of the faithful in God through the incarnation of the Word and the sacrament of the Eucharist :

여기에서 가르치는 일치는 중재자에 의해 이루어지는 완전한 일치입니다. 우리는 그리스도 안에 있고 그리스도는 아버지 안에 계시며 또한 아버지 안에 계시는 반면 우리 안에도 계십니다. 이렇게 하여 우리와 아버지와의 일치가 이루어 집니다. 그리스도는 신성에 의해 아버지 안에 계시는 반면에 인성에 의해 우리는 실제로 그리스도 안에 있고 그리스도는 실제로 우리 안에 계십니다.

Ac sic perfecta per Mediatorem unitas doceretur, cum nobis in se manentibus ipse maneret in Patre, et in Patre manens maneret in nobis; et ita ad unitatem Patris proficeremus, cum, qui in eo naturaliter secundum nativitatem inest, nos quoque in nobis naturaliter inessemus, ipso in nobis naturaliter permanente?

From this we can learn the perfect unity through a Mediator; for we abide in him and he abides in the Father, and while abiding in the Father he abides in us as well – so that we attain unity with the Father. For while Christ is in the Father naturally according to his birth, we too are in Christ naturally, since he abides in us naturally.

-- 주님은 여기서 우리에게 보여 주시고자 하는 것은 우리의 영원한 생명의 원인이 당신 안에 있다는 것입니다. 그것은 그리스도께서 사람이 되시어 그 육신을 통해서 육신을 지닌 사람 안에서 사시게 됨으로 해서 얻는 것이고, 이렇게 해서 우리가 그리스도께서 아버지 안에 지니신 같은 생명으로 살게 된다는 것입니다.

Haec ergo vitae nostrae causa est, quod in nobis carnalibus manentem per carnem Christum habemus; victuris nobis per eum ea condicione, qua vivit ille per Patrem.

To summarise, this is what gives us life: that we have Christ dwelling within our carnal selves through the flesh, and we shall live because of him in the same manner as he lives because of the Father.
