부활5주간토요일 성무일도 독서 : 성 아우구스티노 주교의 '시편주해'에서    우리는 교회에 모일 때 하느님을 찬미합니다. 누가 교회에서 일터로 돌아갈때 어느 의미로 보면  하느님께 대한 찬미를 중단하는 것처럼 보이지만, 선한 생활을 중단하지 않으면 하느님을 계속 찬미하는 것입니다. 여러분은 정의와 하느님의 뜻에서 돌아 설때만 하느님께 대한 찬미를 중단하게 됩니다. 만일 선한 생활에서 결코 돌아서지 않는다면 여러분의 입술이 잠잠하다 해도 여러분의 생활은 소리 높여 말하고 하느님의 귀는 여러분 마음의 박동을 듣습니다. 우리의 귀는 사람들의 목소리를 듣지만 하느님의 귀는 우리의 생각까지 듣습니다.   Etenim laudamus modo in ecclesia quando congregamus; cum quisque discedit ad propria, quasi cessat laudare Deum. Non cesset bene vivere, et semper  laudat Deum. Tunc desinis laudere Deum, quando a iustitia, et ab eo quod illi placet, declinas. Nam si a vita bona numquam declines, lingua tua tacet, vita tua clamat; et aures Dei ad cor tuum. Quomodo enim aures nostrae ad voces nostras, sic aures Dei ad cogitationes nostras.     We are praising God now, assembled as we are here in church; but when we go on our various ways again, it seems as if we cease to praise God. But provided we do not cease to live a good life, we shall always be praising God. You cease to praise God only when you swerve from justice and from what is pleasing to God. If you never turn aside from the good life, your tongue may be silent but your actions will cry aloud, and God will perceive your intentions; for as our ears hear each other’s voices, so do God’s ears hear our thoughts.
