헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 9월 28일 <공동체로 가는 길인 세례성사> Baptism, the Way to Communit 세례성사에는 영성의 자유로 가는 길 이상의 뜻이 있는 겁니다. 말하자면 공동체로 가는 길이기도 합니다.  어린아이든 어른이든 세례를 베푸는 건 그이들을 신앙 공동체로 맞아들이는 겁니다.  세례를 통하여 위로부터 다시 태어나 하느님의 자녀로 살아가라는 성소를 받은 겁니다. 이이들은 모두 함께 살아 계신 그리스도의 몸이요 영성으로 이루어진 한가족의 구성원이 되는 겁니다. 사람들에게 세례를 베푼다면 우리는 그이들을 이하느님의 가족으로 기쁘게 맞아들이고 또 이끌어주며 지원하고 양성하여 그리스도를 닮은 삶으로 충만하게 성숙하도록 하는 겁니다. Baptism, the Way to Community SEPTEMBER 28 Baptism is more than a way to spiritual freedom. It also is the way to community. Baptising a person, whether child or adult, is receiving that person into the community of faith. Those who are reborn from above through baptism, and are called to live the life of sons and daughters of God, belong together as members of one spiritual family, the living body of Christ. When we baptise people, we welcome them into this family of God and offer them guidance, support, and formation, as they grow to the full maturity of the Christ-like life.   † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘.
