헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 10월 10일 [(녹)연중 제28주일] <경계를 뚫고 나아간다는 것> Breaking Through the Boundaries 우리 가운데 또 우리 안에 그리스도께서 살아계시는 성체성사에는  나이, 피부색, 인종 이나 성별, 감정 상태, 경제적 지위나 사회적 배경과 상관없이 우리를 하나로 일치시키는 둘도 없는 힘이 있는 겁니다. 성체성사는 이러한 모든 경계를 뚫고 나아가 그리스도의 한 몸을 새로 만들어 이 세상에서 일치와 공동체의 활기찬 표징으로 살아가게 하는 겁니다. 예수님께서는 아버지께 열절하게 기도하십니다. "그들이 모두 하나가 되게 해 주십시오. 아버지, 아버지께서 제 안에 계시고 제가 아버지 안에 있듯이, 그들도 우리 안에 있게 해 주십시오. 그리하여 아버지께서 저를 보내셨다는 것을 세상이 믿게 하십시오."(요한 17,21) 성체성사는 이러한 하느님의 일치가 모든 이들 가운데 생생하게 이루어진 성사입니다. Breaking Through the Boundaries OCTOBER 10 The sacrament of the Eucharist, as the sacrament of the presence of Christ among and within us, has the unique power to unite us into one body, irrespective of age, colour, race or gender, emotional condition, economic status, or social background. The Eucharist breaks through all these boundaries and creates the one body of Christ, living in the world as a vibrant sign of unity and community. Jesus prays fervently to his Father: “May they all be one, just as, Father, you are in me and I am in you, so that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe it was you who sent me” (John 17:21). The Eucharist is the sacrament of this divine unity lived out among all people.   † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘.
