헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 4월 13일 성주간 수요일 <목자와 양이라는 것> The shepherd and the Sheep 영성의 리더십(지도력)은 착한 목자의 리더십입니다.  예수님께서 말씀하신 것처럼 착한 목자들은 양들을 알고 양들은 목자들을 압니다 (요한10:14 참조). 목자와 양들 사이에는 참된 상호 관계가 있어야 하는 겁니다.  착한 리더는 자신이 챙기고 있는 이들을 알고 그이들도 리더를 안다는 겁니다.  이들은 서로 믿고, 서로 마음을 열고 지내며, 서로 돌봐주고, 서로 사랑하는 겁니다. 리더를 따르는데 우리가 두려워 할 일은 없지만 이끄는 리더에겐 우리의 격려와 지원이 필요합니다 예수님께서는 주님 자신을 착한 목자라고 부르시며 리더와 맡은 이들 사이에 있어야 하는 크나큰 친밀함을 손수 보여 주십니다.  그러한 친밀함이 없으면 리더십은 쉽사리 억누르고 짓누르는 힘이 되는 겁니다. "예수님께서 다시 두 번째로 베드로에게 물으셨다. “요한의 아들 시몬아, 너는 나를 사랑하느냐?” 베드로가 “예, 주님! 제가 주님을 사랑하는 줄을 주님께서 아십니다.” 하고 대답하자, 예수님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. “내 양들을 돌보아라.” (요한21,16) The shepherd and the Sheep APRIL 13 Spiritual leadership is the leadership of the Good Shepherd. As Jesus says, good shepherds know their sheep, and their sheep know them (see John 10:14). There must be a true mutuality between shepherds and their sheep. Good leaders know their own, and their own know them. Between them is mutual trust, mutual openness, mutual care, and mutual love. To follow our leaders we cannot be afraid of them, and to lead our followers we need their encouragement and support. Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd to show the great intimacy that must exist between leaders and those entrusted to them. Without such intimacy, leadership easily becomes oppressive. "Again, Jesus said, "Simon, son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." - John 21: 16 (NIV)   † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘.
