Matthew 10:34-11:1

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth.

I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother,

a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law,

a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me;

anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me.

Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a propher's reward,

and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man

will receive a righteous man's reward.

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones

because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.

After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee.

1. 예수가 문제다. 예수 때문에 갈등과 긴장이 일어난다. 예수 때문에 아직도 전쟁이 계속된다.

   가정 안에서도, 사회와 국가 안에서도... 진리 추구냐 현실야합이냐의 문제이기 때문이다.

   사실 원수는 가장 가까이 있다. 원수는 나와 가장 밀착되어 있는 사람이다. 왜냐하면 혈연,

   지연 등에 얽메이게 만듦으로써 자유롭게 진리를 추구할 수 없게 만들기 때문이다.

2. 진짜로 참 행복을 얻으려면, 진짜로 영원한 생명을 얻으려면 우리를 가장 관계로 얽어메는

   가족조차도 초월해야 한다. 십자가와 고통도 감수인내해야 한다. 아니 오히려 역설의 삶을

   살아야만 한다. 손해보는 삶, 잃는 삶을 살아야 한다. 그래야만 참을 얻을 수 있기 때문이다.

3. 수용성, 받아들임, 포용성이 중요하다. 내가 누구를 받아들이느냐에 따라 내가 받을 상급이

   정해진다. 내 그릇 크기에 따라 내 영적 부요가 달라진다. 간장종지는 간장밖에 담을 수 없고

   냄비는 냄비만큼 담게 된다. 나를 온전히 개방하면 할 수록 나는 커진다. 반대로 내가 내것에

   집착하면 할 수록, 이기적이 되면 될 수록 나는 작은 그릇이 될 수밖에 없다.

4. 주는 삶을 살아야 한다. 받기보다는 주는 것이 훨 낫다.
