헨리 나웬  신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 7월 14일 <축복받는다는 것> Being Blessed 예수님께서는 축복받으신 분입니다.  예수님께서 요르단강에서 세례를 받으셨을 때 하늘에서 소리가 들려왔습니다. “너는 내가 사랑하는 아들, 내 마음에 드는 아들이다.”(마르 1,11). 이 말씀이야말로 예수님의 삶을 받들어 준 축복이었습니다. 예수님께서는 칭찬을 받든 비난을 받든 무슨 일이 벌어지든 이 축복의 끈을 놓지 않으셨습니다. 그분께서는 하느님의 마음에 드는 아들임을 늘 기억하신 겁니다. 예수님께서는 우리와 축복을 나누시려고 세상에 오신 겁니다.  또한 그분은 “너희는 사랑하는 아들, 딸, 내 마음에 드는 아들이요 딸이다.”라고 말씀하시는 하느님의 소리에 우리 귀를 열어주시려고 오신 겁니다.  특히 어두운 시절에 그 소리를 듣고 믿으며 늘 항상 기억할 수 있다면 우리는 하느님께서 축복하신 자녀로 살아갈 수 있고 그 축복을 남들과 나눌 수 있는 힘을 찾을 수 있을 겁니다. Being Blessed JULY 14 Jesus is the Blessed One. When Jesus was baptised in the Jordan river a voice came from heaven saying: “You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you” (Mark 1:11). This was the blessing that sustained Jesus during his life. Whatever happened to him – praise or blame – he clung to his blessing; he always remembered that he was the favourite child of God. Jesus came into the world to share that blessing with us. He came to open our ears to the voice that also says to us, “You are my beloved son, you are my beloved daughter, my favour rests on you .” When we can hear that voice, trust in it, and always remember it, especially during dark times, we can live our lives as God’s blessed children and find the strength to share that blessing with others.   † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘.
