|
그때에 예수님께서는 성령의 인도로 광야에 나가시어, 악마에게 유혹을 받으셨다.

▶ Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.

그분께서는 사십 일을 밤낮으로 단식하신 뒤라 시장하셨다.

▶ He fasted for forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was hungry.

|
그런데 유혹자가 그분께 다가와, “당신이 하느님의 아들이라면 이 돌들에게 빵이 되라고 해 보시오.” 하고 말하였다.

▶ The tempter approached and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread."

예수님께서 대답하셨다. “성경에 기록되어 있다. ‘사람은 빵만으로 살지 않고 하느님의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 산다.’”

▶ He said in reply, "It is written: 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.'"

그러자 악마는 예수님을 데리고 거룩한 도성으로 가서 성전 꼭대기에 세운 다음,

▶ Then the devil took him to the holy city, and made him stand on the parapet of the temple,

그분께 말하였다. “당신이 하느님의 아들이라면 밑으로 몸을 던져 보시오. 성경에 이렇게 기록되어 있지 않소? ‘그분께서는 너를 위해 당신 천사들에게 명령하시리라.’ ‘행여 네 발이 돌에 차일세라 그들이 손으로 너를 받쳐 주리라.’”

▶ and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: 'He will command his angels concerning you and 'with their hands they will support you, lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"

▶ Then the devil took him up to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in their magnificence,

▶ and he said to him, "All these I shall give to you, if you will prostrate yourself and worship me."

그때에 예수님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. “사탄아, 물러가라. 성경에 기록되어 있다. ‘주 너의 하느님께 경배하고 그분만을 섬겨라.’”

▶ At this, Jesus said to him, "Get away, Satan! It is written: 'The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.'"

그리고 나자렛을 떠나 즈불룬과 납탈리 지방 호숫가에 있는 카파르나움으로 가시어 자리를 잡으셨다.

▶ He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

어둠 속에 앉아 있는 백성이 큰 빛을 보았다. 죽음의 그림자가 드리운 고장에 앉아 있는 이들에게 빛이 떠올랐다.”

▶ the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, on those dwelling in a land overshadowed by death light has arisen."

그때부터 예수님께서는 “회개하여라. 하늘 나라가 가까이 왔다.” 하고 선포하기 시작하셨다.

▶ As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.

거기에서 더 가시다가 예수님께서 다른 두 형제, 곧 제베대오의 아들 야고보와 그의 동생 요한이 배에서 아버지 제베대오와 함께 그물을 손질하는 것을 보시고 그들을 부르셨다.

▶ He walked along from there and saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. He called them,

예수님께서는 온 갈릴래아를 두루 다니시며 회당에서 가르치시고 하늘 나라의 복음을 선포하시며, 백성 가운데에서 병자와 허약한 이들을 모두 고쳐 주셨다.

▶ He went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people.

그분의 소문이 온 시리아에 퍼졌다. 그리하여 사람들이 갖가지 질병과 고통에 시달리는 환자들과 마귀 들린 이들, 간질 병자들과 중풍 병자들을 그분께 데려왔다. 예수님께서는 그들을 고쳐 주셨다.

▶ His fame spread to all of Syria, and they brought to him all who were sick with various diseases and racked with pain, those who were possessed, lunatics, and paralytics, and he cured them.

그러자 갈릴래아, 데카폴리스, 예루살렘, 유다, 그리고 요르단 건너편에서 온 많은 군중이 그분을 따랐다.

|
▶ And great crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.
