내가 눈을 들어 보니 뿔이 네 개 있었다.

▶ I raised my eyes and looked; there were four horns.
|

|
나와 이야기하던 천사에게 내가 물었다. “이것들은 무엇입니까?” 그가 나에게 대답하였다. “이것들은 유다와 이스라엘과 예루살렘을 흩어 버린 뿔이다.”

|
▶ Then I asked the angel who spoke with me what these were. He answered me, "These are the horns that scattered Judah and Israel and Jerusalem."

그때에 주님께서 나에게 대장장이 네 명을 보여 주셨다.

|
|
|
|
▶ Then the LORD showed me four blacksmiths. And I asked, "What are these coming to do?"
|
|

|
“이 사람들은 무엇하러 옵니까?” 하고 내가 묻자, 그가 대답하였다. “이 뿔들은 유다를 흩어 버려, 아무도 머리를 들지 못하게 하였다. 그러나 이 대장장이들은 민족들을 떨게 하려고, 곧 유다 땅의 주민들을 흩어 버리기 위하여 치켜들었던 민족들의 그 뿔들을 던져 버리려고 온 이들이다.”

▶ And he said, "Here are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no man raised his head any more; but these have come to terrify them: to cast down the horns of the nations that raised their horns to scatter the land of Judah."

내가 눈을 들어 보니, 손에 측량줄을 쥔 사람이 하나 있었다.

▶ Again I raised my eyes and looked: there was a man with a measuring line in his hand.
|
|

|
내가 “어디로 가십니까?” 하고 묻자, 그가 나에게 “예루살렘을 측량하여, 그 너비와 길이가 얼마나 되는지 알아보러 간다.” 하고 대답하였다.

|
|
▶ "Where are you going?" I asked. "To measure Jerusalem," he answered; "to see how great is its width and how great its length."

그때에 나와 이야기하던 천사가 앞으로 나가자, 다른 천사가 그에게 마주 나와

▶ Then the angel who spoke with me advanced, and another angel came out to meet him,

말하였다. “저 젊은이에게 달려가서 이렇게 일러 주어라. ‘사람들과 짐승들이 많아 예루살렘은 성벽 없이 넓게 자리 잡으리라.

▶ and said to him, "Run, tell this to that young man: People will live in Jerusalem as though in open country, because of the multitude of men and beasts in her midst.

주님의 말씀이다. 내가 예루살렘을 둘러싼 불 벽이 되고 그 한가운데에 머무르는 영광이 되어 주리라.’

|
|
▶ But I will be for her an encircling wall of fire, says the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst."
|

|
주님께서 당신 백성을 돌보시다
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
주님의 말씀이다. ‘내가 너희를 하늘 아래 사방으로 흩어 버렸지만 너희는 어서어서 그 북녘 땅에서 도망쳐 나와라. 주님의 말씀이다.

▶ Up, up! Flee from the land of the north, says the LORD; for I scatter you to the four winds of heaven, says the LORD.
|

|
딸 바빌론과 함께 살고 있는 백성아 어서 시온으로 빠져나와라.

|
|
|
|
▶ Up, escape to Zion! you who dwell in daughter Babylon.
|
|

|
─ 만군의 주님께서 나에게 권위를 주어 파견하신 그분께서 너희를 약탈한 민족들을 두고 말씀하신다. ─ 너희를 건드리는 자는 정녕 내 눈동자를 건드리는 자다.

▶ For thus said the LORD of hosts (after he had already sent me) concerning the nations that have plundered you: Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye.

|
보라, 내가 그들 위로 손을 휘두르면 그들은 자기 종들의 약탈물이 되리라. ─ 그때에 너희는 만군의 주님께서 나를 보내셨음을 알게 되리라. ─

|
|
|
|
▶ See, I wave my hand over them; they become plunder for their slaves. Thus you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me.

|
딸 시온아 기뻐하며 즐거워하여라. 정녕 내가 이제 가서 네 한가운데에 머무르리라. 주님의 말씀이다.

|
▶ Sing and rejoice, O daughter Zion! See, I am coming to dwell among you, says the LORD.
|

|
그날에 많은 민족이 주님과 결합하여 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들 한가운데에 머무르리라.’ 그때에 너는 만군의 주님께서 나를 너에게 보내셨음을 알게 되리라.

|
|
|
▶ Many nations shall join themselves to the LORD on that day, and they shall be his people, and he will dwell among you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.
|

|
주님께서는 이 거룩한 땅에서 유다를 당신 몫으로 삼으시고 예루살렘을 다시 선택하시리라.

|
|
▶ The LORD will possess Judah as his portion of the holy land, and he will again choose Jerusalem.
|
|

|
모든 인간은 주님 앞에서 조용히 하여라. 그분께서 당신의 거룩한 처소에서 일어나셨다.”

|
|
|
|
▶ Silence, all mankind, in the presence of the LORD! for he stirs forth from his holy dwelling.
