▶ After this the Lord appointed seventy two others whom he sent ahead of him in pairs to every town and place he intended to visit.

그들에게 말씀하셨다. “수확할 것은 많은데 일꾼은 적다. 그러니 수확할 밭의 주인님께 일꾼들을 보내 주십사고 청하여라.

▶ He said to them, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.

▶ Into whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this household.'

그 집에 평화를 받을 사람이 있으면 너희의 평화가 그 사람 위에 머무르고, 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 되돌아올 것이다.

▶ If a peaceful person lives there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

|
같은 집에 머무르면서 주는 것을 먹고 마셔라. 일꾼이 품삯을 받는 것은 당연하다. 이 집 저 집으로 옮겨 다니지 마라.

▶ Stay in the same house and eat and drink what is offered to you, for the laborer deserves his payment. Do not move about from one house to another.

▶ Whatever town you enter and they welcome you, eat what is set before you,

그곳 병자들을 고쳐 주며, ‘하느님의 나라가 여러분에게 가까이 왔습니다.’ 하고 말하여라.

▶ cure the sick in it and say to them, 'The kingdom of God is at hand for you.'

|
어떤 고을에 들어가든지 너희를 받아들이지 않으면 한길에 나가 말하여라.

▶ Whatever town you enter and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say,

‘여러분의 고을에서 우리 발에 묻은 먼지까지 여러분에게 털어 버리고 갑니다. 그러나 이것만은 알아 두십시오. 하느님의 나라가 가까이 왔습니다.’

▶ 'The dust of your town that clings to our feet, even that we shake off against you.' Yet know this: the kingdom of God is at hand.

▶ But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.

그리고 너 카파르나움아, 네가 하늘까지 오를 성싶으냐? 저승까지 떨어질 것이다.

▶ And as for you, Capernaum, 'Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.'"

너희 말을 듣는 이는 내 말을 듣는 사람이고, 너희를 물리치는 자는 나를 물리치는 사람이며, 나를 물리치는 자는 나를 보내신 분을 물리치는 사람이다.”

일흔두 제자가 기뻐하며 돌아와 말하였다. “주님, 주님의 이름 때문에 마귀들까지 저희에게 복종합니다.”

▶ The seventy two returned rejoicing, and said, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name."

▶ Behold, I have given you the power 'to tread upon serpents' and scorpions and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.

▶ He approached the victim, poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them. Then he lifted him up on his own animal, took him to an inn and cared for him.

이튿날 그는 두 데나리온을 꺼내 여관 주인에게 주면서, ‘저 사람을 돌보아 주십시오. 비용이 더 들면 제가 돌아올 때에 갚아 드리겠습니다.’ 하고 말하였다.

▶ The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction, 'Take care of him. If you spend more than what I have given you, I shall repay you on my way back.'

▶ As they continued their journey he entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.

▶ She had a sister named Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.

그러나 마르타는 갖가지 시중드는 일로 분주하였다. 그래서 예수님께 다가가, “주님, 제 동생이 저 혼자 시중들게 내버려 두는데도 보고만 계십니까? 저를 도우라고 동생에게 일러 주십시오.” 하고 말하였다.

▶ The Lord said to her in reply, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.

그러나 필요한 것은 한 가지뿐이다. 마리아는 좋은 몫을 선택하였다. 그리고 그것을 빼앗기지 않을 것이다.”
