나는 그분 격노의 막대로 고통을 겪은 사나이.

▶ I am a man who knows affliction from the rod of his anger,
|

그분께서는 빛 없는 어둠 속으로 나를 몰아쳐 걷게 하시고

|
|
|
▶ One whom he has led and forced to walk in darkness, not in the light;
|
|

|
당신 손을 날마다 나에게 돌려 내리치시네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Against me alone he brings back his hand again and again all the day.
|
|

|
내 살과 내 살갗을 닳아 없어지게 하시고 내 뼈를 부수시며
|

|
|
|
▶ He has worn away my flesh and my skin, he has broken my bones;
|
|

|
쓰라림과 괴로움으로 성을 쌓아 나를 에우시고

|
▶ He has beset me round about with poverty and weariness;
|
|

|
오래전에 죽은 자들처럼 나를 암흑 속에 살게 하셨네.

|
▶ He has left me to dwell in the dark like those long dead.
|
|

|
내 둘레에 빠져나갈 수 없는 담을 쌓으시고 쇠사슬로 나를 무겁게 채우셨네.

|
|
|
▶ He has hemmed me in with no escape and weighed me down with chains;
|
|

|
내가 소리 지르며 도움을 청해도 내 기도 소리에 귀를 막아 버리시고

|
|
|
▶ Even when I cry out for help, he stops my prayer;
|
|

|
내 길에 마름돌로 담을 쌓으시며 내 앞길을 막아 버리셨네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ He has blocked my ways with fitted stones, and turned my paths aside.
|
|

|
나에게 그분은 숨어 기다리는 곰 매복하여 엿보는 사자.

|
|
|
▶ A lurking bear he has been to me, a lion in ambush!
|
|

|
내가 길을 벗어나 내 몸이 굳어지게 하시고 나를 뻣뻣하게 만드셨네.

|
|
|
▶ He deranged my ways, set me astray, left me desolate.
|
|

|
당신의 활을 당기시고 나를 화살 과녁으로 세우셨네.
|

|
|
|
▶ He bent his bow, and set me up as the target for his arrow.
|
|

|
당신의 화살들로 나의 내장을 꿰뚫으셨네.

|
|
▶ He pierces my sides with shafts from his quiver.
|
|

|
나는 온 백성의 웃음거리가 되고 날마다 그들에게 조롱의 노랫거리가 되었네.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ I have become a laughingstock for all nations, their taunt all the day long;
|
|
15
|
그분께서 나를 쓴나물로 배불리시고 쓴흰쑥 물을 마시게 하셨네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ He has sated me with bitter food, made me drink my fill of wormwood.
|
|
16
|
내 이가 자갈을 씹어 부서지게 하시고 나를 땅에다 짓밟으셨네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ He has broken my teeth with gravel, pressed my face in the dust;
|
|
17
|
당신께서 이 몸을 평화 밖으로 내치시어 저는 행복을 잊었습니다.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ My soul is deprived of peace, I have forgotten what happiness is;
|
|

|
그래서 나는 말하였네. “나의 영광과 주님께 걸었던 나의 기대는 사라져 버렸구나.”

|
|
|
|
|
▶ I tell myself my future is lost, all that I hoped for from the LORD.
|
|

|
내 고통과 내 불안을 생각함은 쓴흰쑥과 독초와 같은데도
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ The thought of my homeless poverty is wormwood and gall;
|
|
20
|
내 영혼은 생각을 거듭하며 안에서 녹아 내리네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Remembering it over and over leaves my soul downcast within me.
|
|

|
하지만 이것을 내 마음에 새겨 나는 희망하네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ But I will call this to mind, as my reason to have hope:
|
|

|
주님의 자애는 다함이 없고 그분의 자비는 끝이 없어
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ The favors of the LORD are not exhausted, his mercies are not spent;
|
|

|
아침마다 새롭다네. 당신의 신의는 크기도 합니다.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ They are renewed each morning, so great is his faithfulness.
|
|
24
|
“주님은 나의 몫, 그래서 나 그분께 희망을 두네.” 하고 내 영혼이 말하네.

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ My portion is the LORD, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
|
|
25
|
당신을 바라는 이에게, 당신을 찾는 영혼에게 주님은 좋으신 분.

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Good is the LORD to one who waits for him, to the soul that seeks him;
|
|

|
주님의 구원을 잠자코 기다림이 좋다네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ It is good to hope in silence for the saving help of the LORD.
|
|

|
젊은 시절에 멍에를 메는 것이 사나이에게 좋다네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ It is good for a man to bear the yoke from his youth.
|
|

|
그는 홀로 말없이 앉아 있어야 하니 그분께서 그에게 짐을 지우셨기 때문이네.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Let him sit alone and in silence, when it is laid upon him.
|
|

|
그는 제 입을 먼지 속에 박아야 하네. 어쩌면 희망이 있을지도 모르지.

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Let him put his mouth to the dust; there may yet be hope.
|
|

|
그는 자신을 때리는 이에게 뺨을 내주며 수치를 가득히 받아야 하네.

|
|
|
|
▶ Let him offer his cheek to be struck, let him be filled with disgrace.
|

|
주님께서는 마냥 버려두지 않으시네.
|

|
|
|
|
▶ For the Lord's rejection does not last forever;
|
|

|
고통을 주셨다가도 당신의 크신 자애로 가엾이 여기시네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Though he punishes, he takes pity, in the abundance of his mercies;
|
|
33
|
그분께서는 마음으로 사람들을 억누르지도 슬프게 하지도 않으시네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ He has no joy in afflicting or grieving the sons of men.
|
|

|
세상의 모든 수인들이 발아래 짓밟히는데

|
|
|
|
|
▶ When anyone tramples underfoot all the prisoners in the land,
|
|

|
지극히 높으신 분의 면전에서 인간의 권리가 박탈당하는데
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ When he distorts men's rights in the very sight of the Most High,
|
|

|
송사에서 사람이 불의하게 다루어지는데 주님께서 보지 않으실 리 있으랴?

|
|
|
|
|
▶ When he presses a crooked claim, the Lord does not look on unconcerned.
|
|

|
주님께서 명령하지 않으셨으면 누가 명령하여 이런 일이 일어났겠는가?

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Who commands so that it comes to pass, except the Lord ordains it;
|
|

|
나쁜 것도 좋은 것도 지극히 높으신 분의 명령에 따라 일어나지 않는가?
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Except it proceeds from the mouth of the Most High, whether the thing be good or bad!
|
|

|
그러니 살아 있는 인간이 무엇을 한탄하리오? 저마다 제 잘못을 한탄할 수밖에.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Why should any living man complain, any mortal, in the face of his sins?
|
|

|
우리의 길을 성찰하고 반성하여 주님께 돌아가세.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Let us search and examine our ways that we may return to the LORD!
|
|

|
손과 함께 우리의 마음도 하늘에 계신 하느님께 들어 올리세.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Let us reach out our hearts toward God in heaven!
|
|

|
저희는 거역하고 반항하였으며 당신께서는 용서하지 않으셨습니다.

|
|
▶ We have sinned and rebelled; you have not forgiven us.
|
|

|
진노로 몸을 감싸고 저희를 뒤쫓아 오시어 사정없이 죽이셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ You veiled yourself in wrath and pursued us, you slew us and took no pity;
|
|

|
어떤 기도도 꿰뚫지 못하게 당신 자신을 구름으로 감싸셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ You wrapped yourself in a cloud which prayer could not pierce.
|
|
45
|
저희를 민족들 가운데에서 오물과 폐물로 만드셨습니다.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ You have made us offscourings and refuse among the nations.
|
|

|
저희의 원수들은 모두 저희를 비웃고
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ All our enemies have opened their mouths against us;
|
|

|
공포와 함정, 몰락과 파멸이 저희의 운명이 되었습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ Terror and the pit have been our lot, desolation and destruction;
|
|

|
저의 딸 백성의 파멸로 제 눈에서 눈물이 시내 되어 흘러내립니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ My eyes run with streams of water over the downfall of the daughter of my people.
|
|

|
내 눈은 쉬지 않고 눈물을 흘리며 멈출 줄을 모르네,
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ My eyes flow without ceasing, there is no respite,
|
|

|
주님께서 하늘에서 굽어보실 때까지.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Till the LORD from heaven looks down and sees.
|
|

|
내 도성의 그 모든 딸들을 보아야 하는 내 눈이 나를 고통스럽게 하네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ My eyes torment my soul at the sight of all the daughters of my city.
|
|
52
|
까닭 없이 나의 원수가 된 자들이 나를 날짐승인 양 쫓고 또 쫓네.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
▶ Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me down like a bird;
|
|

|
내 생명을 구렁 속으로 처넣고 내 위에 돌을 내던졌네.

|
|
|
|
▶ They struck me down alive in the pit, and sealed me in with a stone.
|
|

물이 내 머리 위로 넘쳐흘러 “나는 이제 끝났구나.” 하고 말하였네.

|
|
|
▶ The waters flowed over my head, and I said, "I am lost!"
|
|

|
그 깊은 구렁 속에서 주님, 저는 당신의 이름을 불렀습니다.

|
|
|
▶ I called upon your name, O LORD, from the bottom of the pit;
|
|

|
“제 탄원과 간청에 귀를 막지 마소서.” 하는 제 소리를 당신께서는 들으셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ You heard me call, "Let not your ear be deaf to my cry for help!"
|
|

|
제가 당신을 부르던 날 당신께서는 가까이 오시어 말씀하셨습니다. “두려워하지 마라.”

|
|
|
|
▶ You came to my aid when I called to you; you said, "Have no fear!"
|
|

|
주님께서는 저의 송사를 맡으시어 제 생명을 구해 주셨습니다.

|
|
|
▶ You defended me in mortal danger, you redeemed my life.
|
|

|
주님께서는 억압당하는 저를 보셨습니다. 저의 권리를 되찾아 주소서.

|
|
|
▶ You see, O LORD, how I am wronged; do me justice!
|
|

|
당신께서는 그들의 모든 복수심과 저를 해치려는 그들의 모든 흉계를 보셨습니다.

|
|
|
▶ You see all their vindictiveness, all their plots against me.
|
|

|
주님, 당신께서는 그들의 빈정거림을, 저를 해치려는 그들의 모든 흉계를 들으셨습니다.

|
|
|
|
▶ You hear their insults, O LORD, (all their plots against me),
|
|

|
제 적대자들의 말과 쑥덕거림은 언제나 저를 해치려는 것일 뿐.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ The whispered murmurings of my foes, against me all the day;
|
|

|
그들이 앉거나 서거나 지켜보소서. 저는 그들에게 조롱의 노랫거리가 되었습니다.

|
|
|
|
|
▶ Whether they sit or stand, see, I am their taunt song.
|
|

|
주님, 당신께서는 그들에게 그 소행에 따라, 그들 손의 행실에 따라 되갚으시리이다.

|
|
▶ Requite them as they deserve, O LORD, according to their deeds;
|
|

|
당신께서는 그들 마음을 완고하게 하시리이다. 그들 위에 당신의 저주를 내리소서.

|
|
|
▶ Give them hardness of heart, as your curse upon them;
|
|

|
주님의 하늘 아래에서 당신께서는 진노하시어 그들을 뒤쫓아 없애 버리시리이다.

|
|
▶ Pursue them in wrath and destroy them from under your heavens!
