1 주님께서 모세에게 이르셨다. 1 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 “너는 이스라엘 자손들에게 일러라. 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. ‘누구든지 사람을 봉헌하겠다고 주님에게 서원하고, 그 사람에 해당하는 값에 따라 서원을 채우려 할 경우, 2 "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '누구든지 서약한 대로 야훼께 사람을 바치려는 경우에는 그 값을 매기는데 2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When anyone fulfills a vow of offering one or more persons to the LORD, who are to be ransomed at a fixed sum of money,
3 스무 살에서 예순 살에 이르는 남자의 값은 성소 세켈로 은 쉰 세켈이다. 3 이십 세에서 육십 세에 이르는 남자의 값은 성소의 세겔로 은 오십 세겔이다. 3 for persons between the ages of twenty and sixty, the fixed sum, in sanctuary shekels, shall be fifty silver shekels for a man,
4 여자이면 그 값이 서른 세켈이다. 4 여자이면 삼십 세겔이다. 4 and thirty shekels for a woman;
5 다섯 살에서 스무 살까지는, 남자의 값이 스무 세켈이고 여자는 열 세켈이다. 5 오 세에서 이십 세에 이르는 남자의 값은 이십 세겔이요, 여자는 십 세겔이다. 5 for persons between the ages of five and twenty, the fixed sum shall be twenty shekels for a youth, and ten for a maiden;
6 한 달에서 다섯 살까지는, 남자의 값이 은 다섯 세켈이고 여자의 값은 은 세 세켈이다. 6 한 달 된 아기로부터 다섯 살 된 아이까지, 사내아이는 그 값이 은 오 세겔이요 계집아이는 은 삼 세겔이다. 6 for persons between the ages of one month and five years, the fixed sum shall be five silver shekels for a boy, and three for a girl;
7 예순 살 이상인 남자의 값은 열다섯 세켈이고 여자는 열 세켈이다. 7 육십 세 이상인 남자는 그 값이 십오 세겔이요, 여자는 십 세겔이다. 7 for persons of sixty or more, the fixed sum shall be fifteen shekels for a man, and ten for a woman.
8 너무 가난하여 이 값을 낼 수 없는 사람이 있으면, 그를 사제 앞에 세우고 사제가 그 값을 매기는데, 서원한 사람의 능력에 따라 값을 매긴다. 8 너무 가난해서 이런 값을 낼 수 없는 사람이 있으면, 그를 사제 앞에 나서게 하고 사제가 그 값을 매기는데 그 서약한 사람의 힘에 겹지 않게 값을 매겨야 한다. 8 However, if the one who took the vow is too poor to meet the fixed sum, the person must be set before the priest, who shall determine the sum for his ransom in keeping with the means of the one who made the vow.
9 주님에게 예물로 바칠 수 있는 짐승이면, 주님에게 올리려고 한 것은 모두 거룩하다. 9 그가 드리기로 한 것이 야훼께 예물로 바칠 수 있는 짐승이면 야훼께 드리려고 한 그것은 곧 거룩한 것이 된다. 9 "If the offering vowed to the LORD is an animal that may be sacrificed, every such animal, when vowed to the LORD, becomes sacred.
10 그러므로 그것을 다른 것으로 대신하지 못한다. 좋은 것을 나쁜 것으로, 또 나쁜 것을 좋은 것으로 바꾸지 못한다. 짐승을 짐승으로 바꾸면, 본래의 것과 바꾼 것, 둘 다 거룩하게 된다. 10 그러므로 그것을 바꾸지 못한다. 좋은 것을 나쁜 것과 바꾸지 못하고, 나쁜 것을 좋은 것과 바꾸지도 못한다. 짐승끼리 맞바꾸려고 하면 그 바꾸려는 것 둘이 다 거룩한 것이 된다. 10 The offerer shall not present a substitute for it by exchanging either a better for a worse one or a worse for a better one. If he attempts to offer one animal in place of another, both the original and its substitute shall be treated as sacred.
11 주님에게 예물로 바칠 수 없는 부정한 짐승이면, 그것이 어떤 짐승이든 사제 앞에 세우고, 11 드리기로 한 것이 야훼께 예물로 바칠 수 없는 부정한 짐승이면, 그것이 어떤 짐승이든지 사제 앞에 세워두고, 11 If the animal vowed to the LORD is unclean and therefore unfit for sacrifice, it must be set before the priest,
12 사제가 그것이 좋은지 나쁜지 가려 값을 매긴다. 사제가 값을 매기는 그대로 그 값이 된다. 12 사제가 그 짐승이 좋은지 나쁜지 가려서 값을 매겨야 한다. 사제가 값을 매기면 그것으로 값이 결정된다. 12 who shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad qualities, and the value set by the priest shall stand.
13 그것을 되사고자 하면 그 값에다 오분의 일을 더 보태야 한다. 13 그것을 물러내고 싶으면 그 값에다가 그 오분의 일을 얹어 물어야 한다. 13 If the offerer wishes to redeem the animal, he shall pay one fifth more than this valuation.
14 누가 자기 집을 주님에게 거룩한 것으로 봉헌하고자 할 경우, 사제가 그것이 좋은지 나쁜지 가려 값을 매긴다. 사제가 값을 매기는 그대로 그 값이 결정된다. 14 누구든지 야훼께 자기의 집을 바쳐 거룩하게 하려는 경우에는, 사제가 그 집이 좋은지 나쁜지 가려서 값을 매겨야 한다. 사제가 값을 매기면 그것으로 그 값이 결정된다. 14 "When someone dedicates his house as sacred to the LORD, the priest shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad points, and the value set by the priest shall stand.
15 봉헌한 이가 자기 집을 되사고자 하면, 그 가격에 오분의 일을 더 보태야 한다. 그러면 그 집이 다시 그의 것이 된다. 15 누구든지 자기 집을 거룩한 물건으로 바쳤다가 물러내려면 매겨진 값에다가 그 오분의 일을 얹어 물어야 한다. 그러면 그 집이 다시 제 것이 된다. 15 If the one who dedicated his house wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and then it will again be his.
16 누가 자기 소유의 밭을 주님에게 봉헌하고자 하면, 씨앗의 분량에 따라 그 값이 매겨진다. 보리 한 호메르의 씨앗 분량이면 은 쉰 세켈이다. 16 누구든지 상속받은 자기의 밭을 야훼께 바쳐 거룩하게 하려면, 거기에 뿌리는 씨앗의 분량을 따라 그 값을 매겨야 한다. 보리 한 호멜 뿌릴 만한 밭은 그 값이 은 오십 세겔이다. 16 "If the object which someone dedicates to the LORD is a piece of his hereditary land, its valuation shall be made according to the amount of seed required to sow it, the acreage sown with a homer of barley seed being valued at fifty silver shekels.
17 희년부터 그 밭을 봉헌하면, 그 값이 그대로 결정된다. 17 희년부터 자기 밭을 바쳐 거룩하게 하려면, 그 값이 다 제 값이 되지만, 17 If the dedication of a field is made at the beginning of a jubilee period, the full valuation shall hold;
18 희년이 지난 다음에 그 밭을 봉헌하면, 사제가 다음 희년까지 남은 햇수에 따라 돈을 계산하여 본값에서 깎는다. 18 희년이 지난 다음에 자기 밭을 바쳐 거룩하게 하려면, 사제가 희년까지 남은 햇수를 세어 그 값을 계산해 가지고 본값에서 깎아주어야 한다. 18 but if it is some time after this, the priest shall estimate its money value according to the number of years left until the next jubilee year, with a corresponding rebate on the valuation.
19 그 밭을 봉헌한 이가 그것을 되사고자 하면, 그 가격에 오분의 일을 더 보탠다. 그러면 그 밭은 다시 그의 것이 된다. 19 누구든지 거룩하게 바쳤던 밭을 물러내려면 매겨진 값에다 그 오분의 일을 얹어 물면 다시 제 것이 된다. 19 If the one who dedicated his field wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and so reclaim it.
20 그 밭을 되사지 않고 다른 사람에게 팔면, 다시는 그 밭을 되살 수 없게 된다. 20 그 밭을 무르지 않고 남에게 팔았으면, 그 밭은 다시 물러낼 수 없다. 20 If, instead of redeeming such a field, he sells it to someone else, it may no longer be redeemed;
21 희년이 되어 그 밭이 풀리더라도, 그것은 완전 봉헌물이 된 밭처럼 주님에게 바쳐진 거룩한 것으로서, 사제의 소유가 된다. 21 그 밭도 희년이 되면 해약이 되기는 하나, 여느 사람은 범접하지 못할 것으로 바쳐진 거룩한 것이 된다. 그 상속권은 사제에게 있다. 21 but at the jubilee it shall be released as sacred to the LORD; like a field that is doomed, it shall become priestly property.
22 누가 본래 자기 소유의 밭이 아니라 사들인 밭을 주님에게 봉헌하면, 22 상속받은 밭은 아니나 매입한 밭을 야훼께 바쳐 거룩하게 하였을 경우에는, 22 "If the field that some man dedicates to the LORD is one he had purchased and not a part of his hereditary property,
23 사제가 희년까지 얼마인지 따져 그 값의 총액을 계산한다. 그러면 그는 그날로 그 값을 주님에게 거룩한 것으로 바친다. 23 사제가 희년까지 따져 그 값을 매겨주어야 한다. 그러면 그는 당일로 그 매겨진 값을 거룩한 것으로 야훼께 바쳐야 한다. 23 the priest shall compute its value in proportion to the number of years until the next jubilee, and on the same day the price thus established shall be given as sacred to the LORD;
24 희년이 되면 그 밭은 그것을 판 사람, 곧 그 땅의 본래 임자에게 돌아간다. 24 희년이 되면, 그 밭을 팔기는 했으나 땅의 상속권을 가지고 있는 본 임자에게 그 밭은 돌아간다. 24 at the jubilee, however, the field shall revert to the hereditary owner of this land from whom it had been purchased.
25 모든 값은 스무 게라를 한 세켈로 하는 성소 세켈에 따른다. 25 그런데 이십 게라를 한 세겔로 하는 성소의 세겔로 값을 매겨야 한다. 25 "Every valuation shall be made according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel. There are twenty gerahs to the shekel.
26 짐승의 맏배는, 맏배로서 이미 주님에게 속하기 때문에 아무도 그것을 봉헌할 수 없다. 소든지, 양이나 염소든지 그것은 이미 주님의 것이다. 26 짐승의 맏배는 으레 야훼의 것이다. 그러므로 그것을 새삼스레 거룩한 것으로 바칠 것이 없다. 소든 양이든 맏배는 야훼의 것이다. 26 "Note that a first-born animal, which as such already belongs to the LORD, may not be dedicated by vow to him. If it is an ox or a sheep, it shall be ceded to the LORD;
27 그러나 부정한 짐승이면 그 값에 오분의 일을 더 보태어 그것을 대속할 수 있다. 그것을 되사지 않으면 그 값으로 다른 이에게 팔려 나간다. 27 그러나 부정한 짐승이면, 매겨진 값에 오분의 일을 얹어서 물러낼 수 있다. 물러내고 싶지 않으면 매겨진 값에 팔아야 한다. 27 but if it is an unclean animal, it may be redeemed by paying one fifth more than its fixed value. If it is not redeemed, it shall be sold at its fixed value.
28 그러나 누가 자기가 가진 것 가운데에서 무엇이든 완전 봉헌물로 주님에게 바쳤으면, 사람이든 짐승이든 자기 소유의 밭이든, 그것을 팔거나 되살 수 없다. 완전 봉헌물은 모두 주님에게 바쳐진 가장 거룩한 것이다. 28 그러나 누구든지 여느 사람은 범접하지 못할 것으로 자기가 가진 것을 야훼께 예물로 바쳤으면 그것이 사람이든지 짐승이든지 상속받은 밭이든지 팔거나 물러낼 수 없다. 여느 사람은 범접하지 못할 것으로 야훼께 바친 것은 무엇이든지 더없이 거룩한 것이다. 28 "Note, also, that any one of his possessions which a man vows as doomed to the LORD, whether it is a human being or an animal or a hereditary field, shall be neither sold nor ransomed; everything that is thus doomed becomes most sacred to the LORD.
29 완전 봉헌물이 된 사람은 그가 누구이든 대속할 수 없다. 그는 반드시 죽어야 한다. 29 여느 사람은 범접하지 못할 것으로 사람을 바쳤으면 그 사람이 누구이든지 물러낼 수 없으며 반드시 죽여야 한다. 29 All human beings that are doomed lose the right to be redeemed; they must be put to death.
30 땅의 십분의 일은, 땅의 곡식이든 나무의 열매든 모두 주님의 것이다. 주님에게 바쳐진 거룩한 것이다. 30 땅에서 나는 곡식이든 나무에 열리는 열매이든 땅에서 난 것의 십분의 일은 야훼의 것이니, 야훼께 바칠 거룩한 것이다. 30 "All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the fields or in fruit from the trees, belong to the LORD, as sacred to him.
31 누가 그 십분의 일을 되사고자 하면 그것에 오분의 일을 더 보태야 한다. 31 누구든지 자기가 바친 십분의 일세의 일부를 물러내려면, 그 값에 오분의 일을 얹어 물어야 한다. 31 If someone wishes to buy back any of his tithes, he shall pay one fifth more than their value.
32 큰 가축과 작은 가축의 십분의 일, 곧 지팡이 밑으로 지나가게 하여 골라낸 모든 가축의 십분의 일은 주님에게 바쳐진 거룩한 것이 된다. 32 소든 양이든 목자가 지팡이로 거느리는 모든 짐승의 십분의 일은 야훼께 거룩한 것으로 바쳐야 한다. 32 The tithes of the herd and the flock shall be determined by ceding to the LORD as sacred every tenth animal as they are counted by the herdsman's rod.
33 그것이 좋은지 나쁜지 살펴서도 안 되고 바꾸어서도 안 된다. 그것을 바꾸면 본래의 것과 바꾼 것이 둘 다 거룩하게 되어 되살 수 없게 된다.’” 33 좋고 나쁜 것을 고르지 못하고 바꾸지도 못한다. 그것을 기어이 바꾸려고 하면 그 바꾸려는 것 둘이 다 거룩한 것이 되어 물러낼 수 없게 되리라.'" 33 It shall not matter whether good ones or bad ones are thus chosen, and no exchange may be made. If any exchange is attempted, both the original animal and its substitute shall be treated as sacred, without the right of being bought back."
34 이것이 주님께서 이스라엘 자손들을 위하여 시나이 산에서 모세에게 내리신 계명들이다. 34 이것이 야훼께서 시나이 산에서 모세를 시키시어 이스라엘 백성에게 내리신 계명이다. 34 These are the commandments which the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.
