북쪽 지파들의 몫
1 “지파들의 이름은 이러하다. 북쪽 끝에서 헤틀론 길을 따라 르보 하맛과 하차르 에난까지, 다마스쿠스 영토를 북쪽으로 두고 하맛 옆으로, 동쪽에서 서쪽까지 이르는 땅이 단을 위한 한몫이다. 1 북쪽 끝에서 시작하여 땅을 차지할 지파들의 명단은 다음과 같다. 다마스쿠스와 하맛에 접경한 경계선을 타고 헤들론을 스쳐 하맛 어귀를 지나 하살에논에 이르는 선을 북쪽 경계선으로 하고 동쪽 국경에서 대해에까지 이르는 한 몫은 단의 것이다. 1 This is the list of the tribes. Dan: at the northern extremity, adjoining Hamath, all along from the approaches to Hethlon through Labo of Hamath to Hazar-enon, on the northerly border with Damascus, with his possession reaching from the eastern to the western boundary.

주님의 몫 The Sacred Tract
8 “유다의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는, 너희가 따로 떼어 놓아야 하는 구역으로, 그 너비는 이만 오천 암마이고 길이는 다른 몫과 같이 동쪽에서 서쪽까지다. 그 한가운데에 성전이 자리 잡게 된다. 8 유다의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지는 직할 지역으로 떼어놓아야 하는데, 그 폭이 이만 오천 척이고 길이는 다른 몫과 같이 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지다. 그 한가운데 성소가 있어야 한다. 8 On the frontier of Judah, from the eastern to the western boundary there shall be the tract which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits from north to south, and as wide as one of the tribal portions from the eastern to the western boundary. In the center of the tract shall be the sanctuary.
9 너희가 주님을 위하여 떼어 놓아야 하는 구역은, 길이가 이만 오천 암마이고 너비가 이만 암마이다. 9 나에게 바칠 직할 지역에서 길이 이만 오천 척, 나비 만 척 되게 떼어내는데 9 The tract that you set aside for the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across by twenty thousand north and south.
10 이 거룩한 구역은 다음 사람들의 차지다. 사제들을 위한 땅은 북쪽으로 길이가 이만 오천 암마, 서쪽으로 너비가 만 암마, 동쪽으로 너비가 만 암마, 남쪽으로 길이가 이만 오천 암마이다. 그 한가운데에 주님의 성전이 자리 잡게 된다. 10 이것이 사제들에게 줄 거룩한 땅이다. 길이는 북쪽이 이만 오천 척, 남쪽도 이만 오천 척, 나비는 서쪽이 만 척, 동쪽이 만 척이다. 야훼의 성소는 그 한가운데 있어야 한다. 10 In this sacred tract the priests shall have twenty-five thousand cubits on the north, ten thousand on the west, ten thousand on the east, and twenty-five thousand on the south; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its center.
11 이것이 차독의 자손들인 성별된 사제들이 차지할 땅이다. 그들은 이스라엘 자손들이 나를 떠나 헤맬 때, 레위인들이 헤맨 것처럼 헤매지 않고, 나를 위한 직무를 수행하였다. 11 성별되어 이 지역을 맡을 사제들은 사독의 후손들이다. 그들은 이스라엘 백성이 나를 떠나 헤맬 때 레위인들처럼 따라 헤매지 아니하고 나를 섬기는 임무를 지켰다. 11 The consecrated priests, the Zadokites, who fulfilled my service and did not stray along with the Israelites as the Levites did,

The whole tract shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across and twenty thousand north and south.

16 도성의 치수는 다음과 같다. 북쪽 사천오백 암마, 남쪽 사천오백 암마, 동쪽 사천오백 암마, 서쪽 사천오백 암마이다. 16 도읍지의 크기는 다음과 같다. 북쪽 측면 사천오백 척, 남쪽 측면 사천오백 척, 동쪽 측면 사천오백 척, 서쪽 측면 사천오백 척이다. 16 These are the dimensions of the City: the north side, forty-five hundred cubits; the south side, forty-five hundred cubits; the east side, forty-five hundred cubits; and the west side, forty-five hundred cubits.
17 이 도성의 빈 터는 북쪽으로 이백오십 암마, 남쪽으로 이백오십 암마, 동쪽으로 이백오십 암마, 서쪽으로 이백오십 암마이다. 17 이 도읍지를 돌아가며 사면으로 공지를 이백오십 척씩 두어야 한다. 17 The pasture lands of the City shall extend north two hundred and fifty cubits, south two hundred and fifty cubits, east two hundred and fifty cubits, and west two hundred and fifty cubits.
18 그러고 나면 거룩한 구역에 잇대어 길이가 동쪽으로 만 암마, 그리고 다시 거룩한 구역에 잇대어 서쪽으로 만 암마 되는 땅이 남게 되는데, 이 땅의 소출은 도성 일꾼들의 양식이 된다. 18 그리고 나면 이 거룩한 직할 지역은 동쪽으로 길이 만 척이 남고, 서쪽으로도 길이 만 척이 남는데 이 남은 지역은 도읍지의 일꾼들이 먹을 양식을 내는 땅이다. 18 There shall remain an area along the sacred tract, ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west, whose produce shall provide food for the workers of the City.
19 이 땅을 경작하는 도성의 일꾼들은 이스라엘의 모든 지파에서 와야 한다. 19 도읍지에서 일할 일꾼은 이스라엘 각 지파에서 뽑아 올리는데 그들이 이 땅을 경작한다. 19 The workers in the City shall be taken from all the tribes of Israel.
20 따로 떼어 놓은 구역 전체는 이만 오천 암마에 이만 오천 암마이다. 이 네모진 땅을 도성의 소유지와 함께 거룩한 구역으로 떼어 놓아야 한다. 20 전체 직할 지역은 거룩한 직할 지역에다가 도읍지에 딸린 소유지를 합해서 가로 세로 이만 오천 척이 된다. 20 The entire tract shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand cubits; as a perfect square you shall set apart the sacred tract together with the City property.
21 거룩한 구역과 도성의 소유지 이쪽과 저쪽에 있는 나머지 땅은 제후가 차지한다. 이만 오천 암마 되는, 이 따로 떼어 놓은 구역에서 동쪽 경계선까지, 그리고 서쪽으로는 이만 오천 암마 되는 서쪽 경계선까지, 지파들의 몫과 나란히 놓인 땅이 제후의 차지다. 이렇게 해서 거룩한 구역과 주님의 집 성전이 그 한가운데에 자리 잡게 된다. 21 이 거룩한 직할 지역과 도읍지에 딸린 소유지 양쪽으로 남은 땅은 백성의 대표에게 돌아갈 몫이다. 곧, 이만 오천 척 되는 이 지역에서 동쪽 국경까지와 이만 오천 척 되는 이 지역에서 서쪽 국경까지 다른 지파의 몫과 평행되게 뻗어 있는 나머지 땅이 대표의 몫이다. 그 사이에 거룩한 직할 지역과 성전의 지성소가 있어야 한다. 21 The remainder shall belong to the prince: the land on both sides of the sacred tract and the City property, extending along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line eastward to the eastern boundary, and westward along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line to the western boundary, a territory parallel with the tribal portions for the prince. The sacred tract and the sanctuary of the temple shall be in the middle.
22 그리고 레위인들의 소유지와 도성의 소유지는 제후가 차지하는 땅 사이에 놓인다. 또 제후가 차지하는 이 땅은 유다의 경계선과 벤야민의 경계선 사이에 자리 잡는다.” 22 레위인들의 소유지와 도읍지에 딸린 소유지는 대표의 소유지 한중간에 끼여 있는 셈이다. 이 대표의 소유지는 유다 지경과 베냐민 지경 사이에 있다. 22 Thus, except for the property of the Levites and the City property, which lie in the midst of the prince's property, the territory between the portions of Judah and of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.
남쪽 지파들의 몫 The Southern Portions
23 “나머지 지파들의 몫은 이러하다. 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 벤야민을 위한 한몫이다. 23 남은 지파들이 차지할 땅은 다음과 같다. 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지의 한 몫은 베냐민의 것이다. 23 These are the remaining tribes. Benjamin: from the eastern to the western boundary.
24 벤야민의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 시메온을 위한 한몫이다. 24 베냐민 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지의 한 몫은 시므온의 것이다. 24 Simeon: on the frontier of Benjamin, from the eastern to the western boundary.
25 시메온의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 이사카르를 위한 한몫이다. 25 시므온 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지의 한 몫은 이싸갈의 것이다. 25 Issachar: on the frontier of Simeon, from the eastern to the western boundary.
26 이사카르의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 즈불룬을 위한 한몫이다. 26 이싸갈 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지의 한 몫은 즈불룬의 것이다. 26 Zebulun: on the frontier of Issachar, from the eastern to the western boundary.
27 즈불룬의 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 가드를 위한 한몫이다. 27 즈불룬 경계에 잇닿아 동쪽 국경에서 서쪽 국경까지의 한 몫은 가드의 것이다. 27 Gad: on the frontier of Zebulun, from the eastern to the western boundary.
28 가드의 경계에 잇닿아 남쪽으로는 이스라엘의 경계가 타마르에서 시작하여, 므리밧 카데스 샘과 '이집트 마른내'를 거쳐 큰 바다에 이른다. 28 가드 지경의 경계선이 남쪽 국경선을 이루는데, 그 경계선은 다말에서 시작하여 카데스 므리바 샘터와 이집트 개울을 거쳐 대해에 이른다. 28 Along the frontier of Gad shall be the southern boundary, which shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, and from there to the Wadi of Egypt, and on to the Great Sea.
29 이것이 너희가 이스라엘의 지파에 따라 제비를 뽑아 상속 재산으로 나눌 땅이고, 이것이 지파들이 차지할 몫이다. 주 하느님의 말이다.” 29 이것이 너희 이스라엘 지파가 서로 유산으로 나눌 땅이다. 이것이 각 지파에 돌아갈 몫이다. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다. 29 Such is the land which you shall apportion as inheritances among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says the Lord GOD.
예루살렘의 성문들 The Gates of the City
30 “도성의 출구는 이러하다. 도성 북쪽의 치수는 사천오백 암마이다. 30 도읍지의 출입문은 다음과 같다. 30 These are the exits of the City, the gates of which are named after the tribes of Israel. On the north side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits,
31 도성의 대문들은 이스라엘의 지파 이름을 따서 부른다. 그래서 북쪽에 대문이 셋 있는데, 하나는 르우벤 대문, 하나는 유다 대문, 하나는 레위 대문이다. 31 이 성읍의 대문들은 이스라엘 지파들의 이름을 따서 붙인다. 사천오백 척 거리의 북쪽 가에 대문이 세 개 있는데 하나는 르우벤 대문, 하나는 유다 대문, 하나는 레위 대문이다. 31 there shall be three gates: the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi.
32 사천오백 암마 되는 동쪽에도 대문이 셋 있는데, 하나는 요셉 대문, 하나는 벤야민 대문, 하나는 단 대문이다. 32 사천오백 척 거리의 동쪽 가에도 대문이 세 개 있는데 하나는 요셉 대문, 하나는 베냐민 대문, 하나는 단 대문이다. 32 On the east side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan.
33 치수가 사천오백 암마 되는 남쪽에도 대문이 셋 있는데, 하나는 시메온 대문, 하나는 이사카르 대문, 하나는 즈불룬 대문이다. 33 사천오백 척 거리의 남쪽 가에도 대문이 세 개 있는데 하나는 시므온 대문, 하나는 이싸갈 대문, 하나는 즈불룬 대문이다. 33 On the south side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.
34 사천오백 암마 되는 서쪽에도 대문이 셋 있는데, 하나는 가드 대문, 하나는 아세르 대문, 하나는 납탈리 대문이다. 34 사천오백 척 거리의 서쪽 가에도 대문이 세 개 있는데 하나는 가드 대문, 하나는 아셀 대문, 하나는 납달리 대문이다. 34 On the west side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naphtali.
35 이렇게 도성의 둘레가 만 팔천 암마이다. 그리고 이 도성의 이름은 이제부터 '야훼 삼마'이다." 35 그래서 사면의 합은 만 팔천 척이다. 이 도읍지의 이름은 이제부터 야훼 삼마이다." 35 The perimeter of the City is eighteen thousand cubits. The name of the City shall henceforth be "The LORD is here."
