제 찬양의 하느님, 잠잠히 계시지 마소서. 그들이 저를 거슬러 사악한 입과 음험한 입을 벌려 거짓된 혀로 제게 말합니다. |

O God, whom I praise, do not be silent, for wicked and treacherous mouths attack me. They speak against me with lying tongues; |

미움의 말로 저를 에워싸고 까닭 없이 저를 공격하며 |

with hateful words they surround me, attacking me without cause. |
| 4 |
제 사랑의 대가로 저를 적대합니다. 그러나 저는 오직 기도드릴 뿐. |

In return for my love they slander me, even though I prayed for them. |
| 5 |
그들은 제게 선을 악으로, 제 사랑을 미움으로 갚습니다. |

They repay me evil for good, hatred for my love. My enemies say of me: |

그를 거슬러 악인을 세우소서. 고발자가 그의 오른쪽에 서게 하소서. |

"Find a lying witness, an accuser to stand by his right hand, |

그가 재판받으면 죄인으로 나오고 그의 기도는 죄가 되며 |

That he may be judged and found guilty, that his plea may be in vain. |
| 8 |
그의 살날들은 줄어들고 그의 직책은 남이 넘겨받게 하소서. |

May his days be few; may another take his office. |
| 9 |
그의 자식들은 고아가, 그의 아내는 과부가 되게 하소서. |

May his children be fatherless, his wife, a widow. |
| 10 |
그의 자식들이 정처 없이 떠돌아다니며 빌어먹고 자기네 폐허에서 쫓겨나게 하소서. |

May his children be vagrant beggars, driven from their hovels. |
| 11 |
빚쟁이가 그의 것을 모조리 잡아채고 남들이 그의 벌이를 빼앗으며 |

May the usurer snare all he owns, strangers plunder all he earns. |
| 12 |
그에게 자애를 품는 이 없고 그의 고아들을 불쌍히 여기는 이 없으며 |

May no one treat him kindly or pity his fatherless children. |
| 13 |
그의 후손은 끊어지고 다음 세대에 그들의 이름이 지워지게 하소서. |

May his posterity be destroyed, his name cease in the next generation. |
| 14 |
그 조상들의 죄악이 주님께 기억되고 그 어미의 죄가 지워지지 않게 하소서. |

May the LORD remember his fathers' guilt; his mother's sin not be canceled. |
| 15 |
그것들이 늘 주님 앞에 있어 그들에 대한 기억마저 땅에서 없어지게 하소서. |

May their guilt be always before the LORD, till their memory is banished from the earth, |
| 16 |
그가 자애를 베풀 생각은 않고 가련한 이와 불쌍한 이, 마음이 꺾인 이를 죽이려 뒤쫓기 때문입니다. |

For he did not remember to show kindness, but hounded the wretched poor and brought death to the brokenhearted. |

그가 저주를 사랑하였으니 저주가 그에게 내리고 축복을 좋아하지 않았으니 축복이 그에게서 멀어지게 하소서. |

He loved cursing; may it come upon him; he hated blessing; may none come to him. |
| 18 |
그가 저주를 겉옷처럼 입었으니 저주가 물처럼 그의 몸속으로, 기름처럼 그의 뼛속으로 스며들고 |

May cursing clothe him like a robe; may it enter his belly like water, seep into his bones like oil. |
| 19 |
그를 덮고 있는 옷처럼, 그가 늘 매고 있는 허리띠처럼 되게 하소서. |

May it be near as the clothes he wears, as the belt always around him." |
| 20 |
이것이 저를 적대하는 자들이 저를 거슬러 악한 것을 말하는 자들이 주님에게서 받는 대가가 되게 하소서. |

May the LORD bring all this upon my accusers, upon those who speak evil against me. |
| 21 |
그러나 하느님, 당신은 저의 주님. 당신 이름을 생각하시고 저를 위하여 행하소서. 당신의 자애가 선하시니 저를 구하소서. |
21 |
But you, LORD, my God, deal kindly with me for your name's sake; in your great mercy rescue me. |
| 22 |
저는 가련하고 불쌍하며 제 마음은 속에서 구멍이 뚫렸습니다. |
22 |
For I am sorely in need; my heart is pierced within me. |
| 23 |
저는 기우는 그림자처럼 스러져 가고 메뚜기처럼 쫓겨납니다. |

Like a lengthening shadow I near my end, all but swept away like the locust. |
| 24 |
저의 무릎은 단식으로 후들거리고 저의 살은 기름기 없이 말라 갑니다. |

My knees totter from fasting; my flesh has wasted away. |
| 25 |
진정 저는 그들에게 조롱거리가 되고 저를 보는 자들은 머리를 흔듭니다. |

I have become a mockery to them; when they see me, they shake their heads. |
| 26 |
저를 도우소서, 주 저의 하느님. 당신 자애에 따라 저를 구원하소서. |

Help me, LORD, my God; save me in your kindness. |
| 27 |
그래서 그들이 깨닫게 하소서, 그것이 당신의 손임을, 주님, 당신께서 이를 행하셨음을. |
27 |
Make them know this is your hand, that you, LORD, have acted. |
| 28 |
그들은 저주하지만 당신께서는 복을 내리시고 저의 적들은 창피를 당하지만 당신 종은 기뻐하게 하소서. |
28 |
Though they curse, may you bless; shame my foes, that your servant may rejoice. |
| 29 |
저를 적대하는 자들은 수치로 옷 입고 창피를 덧옷처럼 덮게 하소서. |

Clothe my accusers with disgrace; make them wear shame like a mantle. |
| 30 |
나는 주님을 내 입으로 한껏 찬송하고 많은 이들 가운데에서 그분을 찬양하리니 |

I will give fervent thanks to the LORD; before all I will praise my God. |
| 31 |
불쌍한 이의 오른쪽에 서시어 그를 판관들에게서 구원하시기 때문일세. |
31 |
For God stands at the right hand of the poor to defend them against unjust accusers. |
