행복하여라, 가련한 이를 돌보아 주는 이! 불행의 날에 주님께서 그를 구하시리라. |

Happy those concerned for the lowly and poor; when misfortune strikes, the LORD delivers them. |
| 3 |
주님께서 그를 보살피고 살려 주시어 그가 땅에서 복을 받으리라. 그를 원수들의 탐욕에 내주지 않으시리라. |

The LORD keeps and preserves them, makes them happy in the land, and does not betray them to their enemies. |
| 4 |
주님께서 그를 병상에서 받쳐 주시고 그가 아플 때 모든 고통을 없애시리라. |

The LORD sustains them on their sickbed, allays the malady when they are ill. |
| 5 |
저는 아뢰었습니다. “주님, 저에게 자비를 베푸소서. 저를 고쳐 주소서. 당신께 죄를 지었습니다.” |

Once I prayed, "LORD, have mercy on me; heal me, I have sinned against you. |
| 6 |
제 원수들이 저에게 몹쓸 말을 합니다. “저자가 언제 죽어 그 이름이 사라질까?” |

My enemies say the worst of me: 'When will that one die and be forgotten?' |
| 7 |
찾아와서는 거짓을 이야기하며 속으로는 못된 것을 모아서 밖에 나가 이야기합니다. |

When people come to visit me, they speak without sincerity. Their hearts store up malice; they leave and spread their vicious lies. |
| 8 |
저를 미워하는 자들이 다 함께 저를 거슬러 수군대며 저에게 해로운 일을 꾸밉니다. |

My foes all whisper against me; they imagine the worst about me: |
| 9 |
“불운한 일이 그를 덮쳐 드러누운 저자가 다시는 일어나지 못하게 되어 버려라.” 합니다. |

I have a deadly disease, they say; I will never rise from my sickbed. |
| 10 |
제가 믿어 온 친한 벗마저, 제 빵을 먹던 그마저 발꿈치를 치켜들며 저에게 대듭니다. |

Even the friend who had my trust, who shared my table, has scorned me. |
| 11 |
그러나 주님, 당신께서는 자비를 베푸시어 저를 일으키소서. 제가 그들에게 앙갚음하오리다. |

But you, LORD, have mercy and raise me up that I may repay them as they deserve." |
| 12 |
제 원수가 저를 두고 환호하지 않는다면 당신께서 저를 좋아하심을 제가 알게 되리이다. |

By this I know you are pleased with me, that my enemy no longer jeers at me. |
| 13 |
당신께서는 제가 온전하도록 붙드시고 저를 당신 면전에 영원히 세워 주십니다. |

For my integrity you have supported me and let me stand in your presence forever. |

주 이스라엘의 하느님께서는 찬미받으소서. 영원에서 영원까지! 아멘, 아멘! |
